Watched a program on UKTV History last night called "Crafty Tricks of War". It was brilliant. They were all real inventions during and immediatelly after the Second World War. They have Pigeon Guided Missiles, Cartwheel bombs etc. I have heard about the Tailor dummies in Iraq. Anybody have any other hair-brained ideas from the military that either nearly made it or were scrapped.

SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE
I AM NOT WANTING A BL00DY DEBATE HERE.......

I havent seen any polls or surverys of veterans opinions on our situation. Everybody has something to say, but it seems like nobody is asking those who have actually been there.

Do you think this war was justified? Where do you think we should go from here?

Im am really only interested in opinions from people who have ACTUALLY BEEN TO Iraq or are from the countries involved in this war.

Also if anyone has any links to scientifically conducted polls/surveys of veterans, that would be helpful too.

thx respectfully

I think hitler didnt kill as many jews as the americans say he did. I think that the Americans had to make him look bad to excuse what the world did to germany. Although he did kill jews (theres no denying that), what the world was told was a lie. THe world had to have a legitimate excuse for abusing germany so much. Just as the americans said they had to attack iraq. In my opinion hitler stood up for the german people and gave the world justice at least for a few years.

I am looking for answers in any of three categories of Lee's characteristics.
1) His generalship. How good was he as a military leader and planner?
2) His character as a human being. Would you consider him a good man?
3) His patriotism. Was he a good American? How would you have handled the dilemna he faced when his state (Virginia) seceded from the Union?

I have interest of finding pics of certain eras of military history, especially concerning early 1900,s. If one can find pictures of F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne Wy, in this same time period, I would be most grateful.

I say let the arabs drink their oil.
Tell the environmentalists to kiss off as well.
Anyone else tired of the blood for oil bull sheet?
I hear people complaining about blood for oil but I don't see to many people shouting it while riding bikes or horses. The same goes for hybred vehicles, they are available but how many are on the road?

I am so tired of this war. 20,000 more troops will be sent to Iraq. Doesn't the Bush administration plan to stop this nonsense. How many more of our U.S. troops have to die because of this stupid war? President Bush keeps saying that he has a plan to rebuild Iraq, however he's been saying this for a very long time, yet there is nothing going in Iraq right now except destruction and chaos. Going to war was a mistake in the first place, especially if there was no reason to go (the so-called weapons of mass destruction).
I think I speak for everyone when I say, "we are all tired of this war!"
