Strongly considering getting out, due to deployments, and lack of time with my family. Do you know of any Job Opportunity's out there for Infantrymen, besides being a security guard, police, or blackwater?

Where can I find photos of the stand down ceremony for the 2nd Battalion, 11th Artillery of the 101st division when the unit left Vietnam? This would have been December 1971.

My husband is currently deployed in Iraq. No matter the poilitics, please tell me, should this war that we are fighting in Iraq end now? Should we bring our troops home to their families and let Iraq take care of themselves? I need all answers, not just ones that support my husband or my cause.

What is what the USA call friendly fire when they kill there allies ? Surely that is not friendly fire but a complete lack of training and abuse of the weapons they hold.

Hes has been given the choice of Reserves or Active Duty. Which is better about paying for your schooling sooner. If any of you have joined either please give me some advice to pass on to him. Thanks :-)

My husband took the ASVAB today, he got a 60.
And the recruiter said he could basically do whatever he wanted in the Army.
So, can he choose his MOS like they're implying? And those who got really low scores cannot? And there are secondary MOS', correct? Can he choose that too, or does the Army choose that one?
I just wanted to check to see how accurate this info was.
Thank You. And any advice on which he should choose..?

WASHINGTON - The first of up to 20,000 additional U.S. troops will move into Iraq by month's end under President Bush's new war plan, a senior defense official said Tuesday. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pledged to hold a vote on the increase, which many Democrats oppose. Bush stated we must win in Iraq at all cost and if that means more troops die then that's the price America is willing to pay. Bush stated we will not lose on his watch.
