....do NOT support the war.....but who SUPPORT the troops! For goodness sake! There is a difference! We know soldiers have to do as they are told. STOP trying to make supporters of the troops feel guilty because you mistakenly believe that because millions do not support the war, they do NOT support the troops. Those who fight can always hold their heads up. Unfortunately your Commander in Chief cannot!

full with oil midle east was helped by modern nation to explore oil. unfortunately certain tribe got control on profits and now situation has come that they have made virtually a big part of humanity as slaves with no democratic rites; natural resouces belong to all humanity. is not it time for united effort by world nations to intervene and help ongoing tribal and clan based killings which are dauly going on there. ist step must be to bring all democracy and new democratic educted non-family owned governments in all region.

Exactly who is fighting who? What does the US want to accomplish there? When US forces go in how do they get engaged in combat? What exactly happens when there is a conflict? I know this is very simplistic but I just want the basics. Thank you.

....taking everything so personally!!?
Some of the questions may well make you mad but you don't have to answer! In fact if you didn't, people would discontinue asking them! I like to read some of the questions and some of the ansers here because some of the military who answer seem quite knowledgeable. On the other hand, I find it distasteful when a military man or woman calls someone out of their name because they have said something you don't like. It's only because they are ignorant,
Please. Just ignore them! And keep up with the good questions and answers!

Alright, so my boyfriend that I love decided that while he was in Iraq (in a dangerous position volunteers for missions) that we shouldn't be together. He said it was too much stress & asking too much of me. Until he gets home safe & sound & after that if I still want him we will be back together. I'm really hurt & angry at him even though I know he's doing what he thinks is best for me.

My question is, how am I suppose to deal with this? I mean Apparently I'm single now, and word has gotten out. I've been asked out 2 already today. I don't really want to date anyone, but maybe I should just go on a date and see.

I don't know, I don't really understand what my boyfriend (or I should say ex) wants me to do. He kind of was encouraging me to see other people, he said he wasn't good enough for me especially after this (being in Iraq, & seeing & doing things over there). I'm hurt. And confused. Anyone shed any light on what he really wants. Because he won't really say.

It sounds like a set-up to a talk show joke, but is there a rational, possibly justifiable or reasonable reason why--given all the technology available--this happens? Please, a comparison to auto collisions is NOT reasonable--the high seas are not the same as your local metro interstate or arterial street.

I happen to support them, since it involves attacking Al Queda strongholds. However, I think Bush chose the time to start this attack in sync with his speech on Iraq, in order to show us he hasn't fogotten about the REAL enemy. At least he finally has did something right with the military.
