....taking everything so personally!!?
Some of the questions may well make you mad but you don't have to answer! In fact if you didn't, people would discontinue asking them! I like to read some of the questions and some of the ansers here because some of the military who answer seem quite knowledgeable. On the other hand, I find it distasteful when a military man or woman calls someone out of their name because they have said something you don't like. It's only because they are ignorant,
Please. Just ignore them! And keep up with the good questions and answers!

Well, we can't see the person's expression, so we can't tell if someone's just joking or has an insulting attidue. What I would ask, is that when a question is asked, take the attitude out of it. Don't editorialize, just say it. For example, some time back someone asked about ribbons/medals. instead of just saying "what's up all the ribbons" he/she added, "who are they fooling?" I DO find that insulting.
I believe normal courtesy should apply here as anywhere, and it works both ways.
Off my soapbox,

After 22 years in the navy the mental midgets who post provocative stuff here don't phase me in the least. But I'll tell you this, if there's ever a draft I'm going to "unretire" and insist on a job as a Company Commander for Boot Camp at Great Lakes. Canada will look mighty good to some of them after being under my thumb for 12 weeks.

valid point BUT often I think that the phrasing of some of the questions is done to deliberately inflame.............lol depends on the mood of the hour as to whether I respond or not lol lol
