What employers are looking for these days is leadership experience...if you have good NCO'ers and have your ERB up to date, then go back to school and get your degree...make use of the benefits. You can always get out and get back in and enlist as a prior service and go after a job that corresponds to your goals under COOL which will certainly land you a civilian position. You can always check the IN/OUT call messages through PERSCOM for a reclass opportunity. Just a note, that you can only reclass into a priority mos since the OUT calls for the 11 series is no, no matter what rank.

The state of Illinois has just announced that they're hiring 75 workers for the transportation department. Good jobs with good pay and they are only hiring veterans. Another good place to look would be with the local Post Office. As a plus your time in service will count towards your retirement in a government job.

Umm do you have any college degrees? Special education before?
I mean just go as an officer in the military, or work for a gun company and test weapons.. But to do that you usually (gun testing) have to be a sniper, since they want to know exactly how accurate the gun is and such...
How ever unless you have any former experiences or degrees you either go what you listed or go into the civilian world and be stuck with jobs people don't really want, such as bus drivers and such... If you can go into teaching..

Use your GI bill and get a good education... I was infantry for four years, then I went to college for free. Now I'm a doctor, but i still serve as a reservist. Don't limit yourself, that can-do infantry spirit has always served me well. Good luck.

AS IN PAST WARS---BUSINESSMEN USUALLY APPRECIATE THE 'LAYING YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE ' AS A SERIOUS CONSIDERATION.....THEREFORE ANYTHING IS AVAILABLE.....DEAL WITH SOME REPUBLICAN PATRIOT......NOT SOME SOCIALIST LEANING DEMOCRAT......WHO CONSTANTLY CRIES FOR OUR ENEMIES---THEY DON'T LOVE SERVICEMEN OR WOMEN....................
