We also have names for the other branches, some of which are even printable. But that's another story. *L*
One of the best bar fights I ever saw was between some Marines and some Sailors. One of the Marines said, "What have you been doing, squid?" The sailor answered, "Oh, you know. Just floating around, sh***ing on marine life."

Sailors are Squids, Tars, Skimmers (surface guys), Airdales (aviation folks), Bubbleheads (submariners). I've heard Soldiers called grunts, ground-pounders; Airmen called wingnuts; Coast Guardsmen called Puddle Pirates, Post Coasties, and Shallow Water Sailors. Everyone has a nickname or two.

In the Army, CBRN Chemical Operations Specialists, are referred to as "Dragon-Soldiers".
Infantry referred to by Armor Soldiers as "crunchies" for the sound they make when they are run over; Infantry refers to Tankers as "DAT's" [dumb-A$$ Tankers].
Artilleryists are "gun-bunnies" or "Red-leg" soldiers.
This list could go on forever for the Army...
