Well I'm not sure if even the resources given by anybody will accurately tell you how many U.S soldiers died in WW2, First you have to look at combat related fatality's then you need to look at non-combat deaths, then there is the matter of those never found. because to tell the true facts all of these would have to be calculated, and with all that happens in a war with such great loss as WW2 had these facts may never be known. but with all that said i guess this site best describes the losses as we know them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_War_II_casualties_by_country
