I myself believe we are there so that
1 Bush could fight his daddys war against Saddam and make his daddy proud 2. So that we could gain some control over their oil (which will never happen) There never was any weapons of mass destruction it was a lie to make the american people feel like we were doing something we had to do. We don't give a monkeys *** about those people over their and the only reason Bush hasn't just said kill them all is because it would start a world war. The rest of the world laughs at us and those that aren't laughing at how stupid we are hating us and wanted to kill us because we seem to think we can just rule every other country out there. If this war was to protect us then we would have started where the real threat was.If we think that by being over there killing who we think is bad that that will make that country a free country then it does show how stupid we really are. That country will never be free There will always beviolencethatsnothowtheywereraised

Iraq was NEVER a threat to the US. We went over there for Israel and oil, and we are still over there for Israel and oil.

Bush wants to send 30,000 more troops over there so that he can march them into another death trap in Iran when the time comes. (That time being when his Zio-con Jew Traitor shitbag PNAC bosses tell him it's time)

We went in because of incorrect information. The only reason we're there is because the people that were elected and reelected say that we should be.

They justify it by saying we have to stay the course, but without a defined end, it can't really be considered a 'course'. In all actuality it's an occupation. We are occupying Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's true that the violence will worsen when we leave, there's not a whole lot we can do about that, but remaining there isn't a solution either.

The Republican party leaders have complained that the Democratic party leaders don't have a plan for withdrawal and thus shouldn't be in power. I see the same problem about the Republican party leaders.

My response? Both parties are too concerned that the other doesn't have a plan for withdrawal that they never took the time to create one. To the people in power, bring in a non-partisan planning commission to plan the withdrawal of troops. Have members of both parties collaborate on this plan so that both parties are satisfied. You will have to make compromises.

To answer the question directly: we have no reason to be in Iraq other than the fact that those that (used to) be in power choose not to bring the troops home.

To the American public that voted for those in power, you're pretty much the reason we're in Iraq in the first place. (Remember, it was Afghanistan, not Iraq, that caused 9-11.)

Because we have no exit strategy. We are worried what the rest of the World is going to think of America after stupid Airhead Bush lied to us and invaded Iraq. The rest of the World was smart enough to back out of it.

Today, even Bush's underwear, Tony Blair announced he is against surge in troops and will not send any more British troops into IRAQ. (Does that say something?).

We are in IRAQ to please the likes of Halliburton and Defense Contractors who want to see the American Ordinance depleted so they can get new lucrative contracts to replenish the Ordinance stocks for the Government.

The B & B Gang ( Bush & Blair) is not finished with rapping & pillaging of IRAQ's only resource OIL while still pretending to be looking for WMD's at the cost of lives of our BRAVE AMERICAN TROOPS.

It is time to IMPEACH GW BUSH & lock him and his
White House Gang in Guantanmo Bay.

Then bring our troops home and let IRAQ clean up its own mess if they have any "Balls" left to do so.

Well its definitly not to "fight for our freedoms" like they are brainwashing people to think. Here are the reasons:
1. Take control of oil
2. Try to make asshole Bush look good by not backing out from a
war that shouldnt have happened in the first place.
3. Build walmarts
4. Build McDonalds
5. More people to tax.
6. So we can "live in a world where people and fish can coexist peacefully." (thats a quote from your president)

Because of interests by our government and SIG's, for such things as oil, that really have no real support. We could, as a nation, make our own fuels such that we would not need Arab oil. However, the oil companies and other large companies do drive governmental decisions. IF we are in fact there to fight terrorism as we are told, then we need to change our methods of contact. We need to make these people believe that we will stop at nothing to wipe them from the face of the earth. If they think they are bad, and ruthless, then we need to be worse. That is what the Islamics understand anyway. Their diplomacy is by the sword, gun and bomb. Ours needs to be the same, and worse. They believe in force, talking only makes us look weak in their eyes.

Gee whiz, it must be the oil right. I mean after all the price of gas is falling like a stone right?
That's what we do, we invade countries and just steal there assets and ship it all back to the good old USA so we can have cheap gas.
