My Husband is in Iraq and this is his 4th time deployed. He retires in 5 years, how many times do you think he will have to go back? Is there no limit and I read somewhere that within so many years of retirement they try to get you settled somewhere without deploying. Anyone know? He has mentioned jobs on base that will not require him to deploy, like recruiting, teaching or training in weapons just until he retires. Are those hard jobs to get? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

I mean, he's attempting to strip every constitutional freedom that he can in the name of freedom (ironically), while you are sacrificing life and limb for war profiteering.

Pakistan has faught against taliban in its own region just to support Karzai govt in afghanistan. Pakistan has killed thousands of taliban and hundreds of pakistan soldiers has been killed in this was, but still Karzai is not happy.

some peole think that Karzai has good relation with India and he is telling this on bhalf of india.

Ok, my husband is being deployed although he is still at his mobilization station currently. His MOS is a 91 whiskey(medic) and he was told they were going to do a background check on him to get him some security clearance. I just found out yesterday that there was a warrant issued for his arrest last week because he failed to appear in court (he couldn't have gone to court anyway, he has been gone for 3 weeks!) and our attorney knew nothing about this and is supposed to be checking into it. My question is...if the Army finds this warrant (that my husband knows nothing about, I didnt want him to worry...) will they send him home to pay the consequences??

If they know that he's dead then why didn't they go and catch him before and how comes all of a sudden they know that he's dead in Pakistan/Afghanistan? What is so difficult about catching one single man. Hes not exactly living in a fortress if he is there. That part of the world is a derelict area. Why can't the forces of USA and UK find him with all the great technology we have?

I been intrested for a while but I'm quite sure i heard someone say that you need a High School Diploma. Well I couldnt finish High shchool for personal reasons, but i recently attained my GED which is just as good as any H.S diploma.

Would that disqualify me for even being considered to join the Air Force?

i never had any criminal records, so why not recruit me? lol

He and his neocon handlers have been inflaming violence as the United loses its grip on the Middle East. Democratization is leading to more ethnic conflict and then to more war. Economically backward societies have no stake in rapid change. They will see the occupying forces as enemies and agents of exploitation.
Increasing violence from Iraq will only continue to spread - and the Republicans who wanted this war are the catalysts who made it far, far worse.

The USA has 12,070 nuclear warheads. It cost millions and millions of dollars to build them. It costs millions more simply to maintain them. But the last time we used any atomic weapons was over 60 years ago. This does not seem like an efficient use of taxpayer dollars. We have enemy nations that are ripe for a good nuking like North Korea, Iran and Venezuala. Why aren't we using them?

Why is it as soon a someone asks a valid question about america you get umpteen american teenagers(at least that what the tossers sound like) shouting about nuking england. silly boys you would still be british if we hadnt GIVEN the wasteland you call home back to you. You need us we do not need you. all your trade comes thru our territory, without us you wouldnt have sh*t so unless you have a constuctive (hard to fathom really) answer stay quiet go shoot something or better still look it up first.

Should we really have had anything to do with americas stance on terrorism, when lets be fair they were rubbing shoulders with known terrorists(having dinner with martin mcguinnes bill clinton you sh*t) and funding the I.R.A to blow up our children for 25 years. typical america, World policeing they call it but isnt that what the U.N was for in the first place? just because they had one terrorist attack (albeit a bad one ) we suffered 25 YEARS of them, and what did america do other than fund the bloody terrorists
