paintball? robot wars? winner gets one signed war corpse (or ten points)

if there were such a thing as honor any more i would get the two warring leaders to agree forfiets (ie: stop killing villagers, eat our beef etc) then they bet on a few fighters in agreed upon matches.

UFC style combat. person who loses loses. person who wins wins. no needfor 1000's to die. when one "fighter" for their country can. ( as tacky and cheesy as it sounds, the Mortal Kombat idea wouldsave a lot of lives )........or have the leader of the country fight the opposition. maybe then we will see less wars. or a lower scale war haha.

Simulated war games where the winner of each battle gains valuable land/territory from the opponent, or the value of the land gained in whatever commodity the winner requests. If the loser reneges on the deal all trading ceases with all nations until the payment is made. If the payment can't be made, the land option is played. If there is no land left, the biggest land owner takes immediate control of that nation. All debts are cleared and the nation starts from scratch with a clean sheet, but is held back until it has proven it is able to sustain another major loss in its resources and not just give up land. Thus, reducing the risk of gambling for land and/or needed commodities.

All wars that have ever taken place started with religion does that not tell you something, or is religion the evil of all evils. If people could only sit down and argue there points like civilised people then talk it through instead of chucking bullets and bombs at each other, after all when the bombs and bullets stop religion is still there so accept that people are different and live your life in peace after all life is the most precious commodity on this planet

What i don't understand is that a war begins between two or more people of high rank, and if they cannot agree with words they use their footfolks to fight for them. Where is the spirit then? What is the point? Looks to me like a bet.
