The war is as bad as ever. ( Thanks to Bush and Company ) The war cannot be won and more and more Iraqi men and women are being killed everyday. It's "NOT" better now than it was 3 years ago. Shame is coming.

I have a boyfriend in the army. He's an E5 sargent. He tells me that he is not allow to go more than 250 miles away from his base. Unless he gets leave time or has a family emergency. Now, my father served in the navy about 30 years ago. He claims that when he was in the navy, he was able to leave the base and come home practically every weekend. I'm wondering basically, who is right. Were you able to do such a thing so long ago? Is it only a navy perk to leave base on weekends? I need a third persons opinion on this. I really appreciate it. Thanks.

Not ones with large armies that will drain the UN, but in smaller states, easy to take over so the people can have a better future or at least have a chance at a decent life.

If I wanted to go Armor or Calvary Scout in the Army, It says to have 111121 Physical PULSE..
How much "Stamina and Strength" would be enough for the first two ones..
I guess my ? is what are the actual physical requirments?

I cant do pull-ups and I have a JROTC PT test 3 weeks from know. I have to be able to do at leahave a Pullst 11 pull-ups in one min. I dont -up bar, the bar we are going to use will set up the day of the PT test. What is the best way to train myself to be able to do 11 pull-ups in one min.? Are there any other exercises that can help me do the with out the pull-up bar.

I cant do pull-ups and I have a JROTC Fitness test 3 weeks from know. I have to be able to do at least 11 pull-ups in one min. I also have to do 57 sit-ups, I can do like 20 in one min. How can I do 11 pull-ups and the other sit-up within the next 3 weeks. Please help.

Im going to take Egypt as an example:

It is a facist, autocratic, police state. The citizens of Egypt absolutely despise their leaders, yet America has always been their ally, America has dozens of military bases in their country and the people resent this, America knows if egypt was a democracy they would get kicked out, so they support their tyrannical regime which opresses its citizens. So how can you expect them to like you?

Please give me rational answers.

Regardless of the politics and domestic affairs within the country itself and the controversy surrounding their treatment of women, Iran have never within this or the previous century shown any level of aggression or posed a threat to any other country, and yet the American and British governments continue to convince their own citizens that it is a necessary evil (if an evil at all) to attack and conquer Iran. Why is this the case?

Having just posted a question on the possible similarity in the award of decorations to our troops in Afghanistan/Iraq and that of the South African war in a specific incident. I wonder if ' people read the question and comprehend what it's about before they answer? As an ex regular serviceman who served over four years in total in Northern Ireland the last thing I need is an idiotic reply from immature people like 'gingertod' or 'ramsbotto', when they've grown up perhaps they'll improve but I doubt it.
