Many of these questions would be correct - if this was Vietnam. The M-60 isn't in the inventory any more. The standard door gun on an UH-60 Blackhawk is a M240B 7.62mm machine gun. They could mount a M249 SAW 5.56mm but I've never seen this. There's no 30mm cannons in the front. Some special ops MH-60s could mount a 7.62mm "vulcan" minigun, like the one used in the movie Predator, but I've never seen this done in practice.

The standard door gun on an UH-60 Blackhawk is a M240B 7.62mm machine gun (basically an upgraded M-60).
Back in 1990 when I was flying in the SH-60B SeaHawk doing CSAR (Combat Search & Rescue), we felt the M-60 was alittle to LITTLE fire-power, and rigged a M-2 .50 Caliber in the door (Seahawk only has a door on right-side).
PAX River Navy Testing site was testing several different door-gun systems for the SH-60B as the war was starting... I don't recall the designation of the weapons but they were 1) M-2 .50 Caliber machinegun 2) 3 barrel 7.62MM gatling gun 3) 6 barrel 7.62mm gatling gun.
In 1998, I flew observer in an SH-60F that carried and electric M-2 .50 Caliber.
I hope others will give you the answer you need

Um, people, it's not the M240B. That's the version configured for ground combat that's assigned to every infantry platoon weapons squad in the Army. The aviation version is the M240D. I know in the 2003 timeframe there were still M60s around (some of the guys from my infantry company were detached for duty in aviation units because those guys were short on door gunners before OIF I), but I deal with aviation units quite a bit, and flew across Iraq on UH for a week (one trip on a CH). I never saw an M60, and I'm sure they're not in the inventory anymore, with the sort of funds that units that deploy are receiving today; they've probably been coded out.
By the way, Pavehawks in the 160th SOAR are a different breed. We're talking straight UH here.
Oh and people? The Blackhawk does NOT have a 30mm chaingun in front. That's the AH-64 Apache, in either A or D configurations. I've seen the inside of the UH nose. It's NOT going to hold a 30mm chaingun.
By the way, ddddd you are still a fake and a wannabe. I invite you to prove that you are SF in some quantifiable measure that leaves absolutely no doubt. I will then eat crow and proceed to apologize, but until then I will treat you as the garbage you deserve to be treated as for masquerading as a veteran. Shame on you.
And Robert S, thank you for your time in service. I always thought Seahawks were the coolest thing ever in aviation. Really. Thank you.
