The teachers that are teaching history in school now .....NO....they like to rewrite it so it fits into what they believe. The many books that are written about the Civil War from both sides are many and they give a good insite to what took place then. Bruce Catton is one of the best for giving both sides of the battles.

Do I believe in them? No.
