If they know that he's dead then why didn't they go and catch him before and how comes all of a sudden they know that he's dead in Pakistan/Afghanistan? What is so difficult about catching one single man. Hes not exactly living in a fortress if he is there. That part of the world is a derelict area. Why can't the forces of USA and UK find him with all the great technology we have?

I don't think so. As far as where he lives he has been brought up in those mountian areas and knows them like the back of his hand. The way I understand it is that he is always on the move and never stays in one place very long. Our technology is great but if we are not sure or where to be looking how can we find him it one of those questions that doesn't really have an answer.

Im not saying he is, but its possible he may, by the tiniest of glimmers, still be out there, hopefully the evil man is dead and rotting in hell for his crimes against humanity, I really thought the Americans had nailed him when they obliterated the Tora Bora Mountains in Afghanistan with that ultimate bomb the "Daisycutter". But hopefully he is dead, and the sooner this is proven to be true, the war on terror will be over. I honestly believe he is dead though.

what does that even matter. He is not like bush, a one mans show. He is really supported by his people. The people who fight for him really believe in him, and if it is not Binny it will be some one else. Not like in the states that if the president would fall (let's all pray for that) the whole nation would fall apart. He fights with passion and believers, and they will always win. look at the history. Scotland won from England, Ireland won from England, few peasants against full trained militaries. It is the passion that will win. Why even try?

No proof whatsoever. The initial report he'd died of TB was made by a French *regional* newspaper. If any journalist or witness had that story they'd be straight to the Washington Post or somesuch newspaper, or the BBC, not a small town rag.

Last i heard, the French President had ordered an inquiry into the leak that ended up plastered in L'Est Republicain newspaper. Nothing else has been said so it was either a mix or else ... They didn't find him. So right now ... No one knows for sure.

There is no solid proof that Bin Laden is dead. I believe he is still alive.

I am not sure that we'll ever know whether he is dead or alive. I am not too bothered as there are many more like him who are ready to take over. They are a horrible mob, all of them!
