If I had an accident and the other party admitted guilt in front of a police officer then later said he was not guilty to his insurance company, could I contact the police officer in order for him to testify on my behalf in court?

In New York, what kind of force can you use to resist an unjustified arrest by a uniformed police officer? What NY Penal Code section covers this matter?

Even just when you are stopped routinely - not doing anything wrong - and when they run an ID check. I was with my mates and we were stopped but I ws the only one they made get out of the car, cuffed and searched eventhough I had nothing. I'm on parole and staying straight but its hard when you seem to get treated differently.

I was arrested on suspiciose of drunk driving. I couldn't take their stupid little test because I had a bad cold. Since I wouldnt take their test because of my illness they took me to the hopsital and drew blood against my will. Isn't that assault and also stealing because they took my blood without my permision.

This is an article I found (while searching online for DWI intervention and prevention) about an NYPD off duty cop drinking and driving and causing a head on collision with another car leaving the other driver in critical condition. Now to me it seems as though our justice system is full of crap b/c they seem to have just slapped this cop on the hand and let him fly off with barely anything to reflect on. What are your thoughts on this kind of case? Why is it that either if you're a cop, in the military or if your work title has something to do with authority you get off easy on crimes you've committed whereas if a regular citizen out there committed the exact same crime he/she would've had to wreap what they'd sewed, afterall this is a serious criminal offense isn't it especially b/c someone else is in the hospital fighting for his life.

Here is the situation.

I was parked in a small parking lot that has a brick wall seperating another section of the parking lot. While I was in my vehicle I heard a loud noise consistant to a collision. I could see the front of one vehicle drive off. On the other side of the wall a vehicle was parked, I informed that driver that she may want to check for damage and what I had heard. Apparently there was damage that was not noticable at first.
Am I legally obligated to make a statement to the police dept? I do not know anything about the vehicle that drove off.

My husband is in Iraq and his wallet was stolen. I have cancelled the debit and credit cards. I ordered him a new Driver's Lic. and he won't be able to get his s.s. card until he comes back home. I think that was all but I keep thinking that I am missing something. Any ideas? Also, should I file a police report in case someone tries to steal his identity? There are not any Military Police around where he is at for him to do it himself. Would the police allow me to do this just so we could have proof that his wallet was stolen?
