my boyfriend recently was jailed for being a habitual violator in georgia. What will happen when he goes before a judge?

My brother is a police officer in the state of Georgia and more than likely depending on several circumstances they will suspend or revoke his license and it is possible he will have to attend driving courses. The offenses have to be looked at to determine what to do. For instance, were they DUI, DWI, moving violations, or were they parking violations. Depending on severity is how they determine this.

I live in Ga, and I believe the state law is basically like this. Upon the charge, AND conviction of a third or more offense, you can, and most often will, be given the maximum penalty allowed for that offense in the books. A third offense of armed robbery would basically mean 25 years without possibility of parol, etc.
