the trailer park that Christopher Barrios lived in?

Why was a child molester allowed to move in? Will anything be done to the state? The state is responsible for keeping up with Child molesters right? Why didn't they do their job?

What can be done to get people to notice these things?

They even gave me a sobity test I passed and they finally let me go home. Can I be arrested for what he put in my car? Today has been three days since it happened. this irks me, my car was parked in a residential area, and i clearly knew there was a handicap curb in front of me .. so i parked behind the blue curb .. i got back to my car and i got a parking ticket fine for 300 dollars, and the ticket says i was 4 feet into the curb, that irked me cause i was at the most a foot with the front of my car barely even touching the blue .. this was late at night , so its hard to see .. i took pictures of where i parked it , and this was in san jose, california .. do i contest it ??

Does a police officer have to give you a field sobriety test and/or a blood alcohol test before he/she can arrest you for a DUI/DWI?

"The traditional "drunk driving" offense, consists of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Evidence to support this crime generally comes from the officer's observations (erratic driving, slurred speech, unsteady gait, etc.), performance on field sobriety tests, and a legal (and generally rebuttable) presumption of intoxication from a blood alcohol test result over the legal limit."

Does a police officer have to "observe" all of these to deem you "under the influence"? Or is one or two of these "observations" enough for an arrest?

Example: You are pulled over because of your "erratic driving". You roll down your car window and the officer smells alcohol (and you are alone in the vehicle).

Is that enough "observation" for an arrest? Or must a sobriety test/BAC test be given? And what if a person refuses the test?

Thanks...

Thanks for the answers to the previous question I posed, but by the logic that was given to me, it is legal for me to go down the street, house by house, and if the door is unlocked, to enter that house. If the occupant asks me to leave and I leave, and I don't take anything, then technically I have commited no crime? Is it not possible for someone to tresspass in your vehicle?

Are unusually long jail sentences considered cruel and unfair?

A friend told me of a man who was sentenced to 240 years in jail. He thought it was funny ans asked if it was possible to overturn the sentence for being cruel and unusual punishment.

Is that possible?

I recently received a ticket for leaving my car door unlocked. The police officer opened the door, and left the ticket on my front seat before locking the door. My question is two-fold. First, isn't it breaking and entering to open my car door, much as it would be for a police officer to enter a home without just cause(here I'm assuming that an unlocked door doesn't equate to someone in distress)? And secondly, how can the law dictate what I do within the confines of my own private property? I understand parking tickets, where I have placed my private property where it doesn't belong, but the door lock is a part of my property, and as such, how is the law entitled to dictate what I do with it?

If I felt business ripped me off, can I call them on the phone (without confessing that the conversation is being recorded), have it recorded for the chance that the company admits wrongdoing and then use it either in small claims court or let's say even criminal court ? Would that be illegal? Could I get sued by the business for right of privacy for doing this? Could I get in trouble? I know it is illegal for law-inforcement to do this to us but what about private citizens like me.

Ok. I looked out my apartment window/door and saw some dude loitering around downstairs in the brush basically. It is midnight you know and it is very windy outside. I kind of wondered what he could be up to...so i asked him what the **** he was doing..and he walked away hurriedly. Should i call the police and let them know or leave it alone? My wife told me they are looking for a rapist in town, but i mean , c'mon he could have just been having a smoke.
