Well Baby girl
Not a damned thing !! Even though that trash needs to be prosecuted for complicity !! They KNOW that these people do not "rehab" or get "better" ---they KNOW that they will "offend" again--- and they just turn their backs and leave the public to defend themselves against this madness --AND THEN-- prosecute those who stand up and actually DO something about their own defence in "encouraging" these bastards to MOVE ON !!!!!
About the very first case of an authority allowing this garbage to happen being brought up ---charged and actually convicted of Complicity in one of these crimes--- there is going to be a whole lot more attention put on doing something about these "people" who perpatrate this insanity upon the innocents of the world !!! I have often wondered what one of these "authority" figures would do-- if one of the people they facilitated back into the general population were to "offend" against one of THEIR Children or Grandchildren ?? I grant you that they would have a genuinely different attitude about the whole thing after THAT !!

"Ironically, the Edenfields moved into the trailer park where Christopher lived last year because of a Georgia law intended to keep child molesters away from children.
Sheriffs' deputies told George Edenfield in September that he had to leave his home near downtown Brunswick because it was too close to a playground. Georgia law prohibits registered sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of schools and other places that draw children.
His family went to live in the trailer park in October after George Edenfield was arrested for failing to move as ordered. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to probation March 5, three days before Christopher disappeared."
Nothing will happen to the authority figures. The Justice For Christopher Foundation has been created to petition stricter sentencing for child molesters. The only thing we can do is get involved, sign these petitions and try to change the judicial system.

First, being a registered sex offender does not mean that you cannot move into a trailer park. Second, the government cannot generally keep these folks out even if they wanted to. Nothing will happen to anyone at the local or state level unless there is a GA law that requires them to take action and all the requirement for action had been met.
Unless GA has a law that specifically prohibits sex offenders from living in trailer parks or places where there might be children (and I doubt it does), then it is likely no one was required to do anything to prevent him from living where he was. In fact, it might even be unlawful for any landlord to discriminate against him solely because he is a registered offender ... there have been some attempts in various states to pass laws preventing housing discrimination based upon sex offender status - I doubt any of these laws have passed, but I am not familiar with the law in GA in this regard and it might be possible.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm pretty liberal, but I read about this incident and it may be one of the most disturbing acts I've ever heard of, and I've seen a lot of **** in my day. The authorities should be fired immediately, but that won't bring back the child.
All three the molesters must be dealt with in the most INHUMANE manner possible, which, ironically enough, might be prison. Not even most inmates will tolerate behavior that sick and twisted, they'll handle the molesters appropriately.
Either way, they do not deserve to live. Sex offenders, and especially convicted child molesters, give up their rights to be treated as a humans, and I advocate absolutely no mercy or rehabilitation for any of them.

Unfortunately for this family and the kid I think nothing will happen to the authorities because they are too busy in other things than keeping a safe neighborhood.
This act is disgusting and the law must be enforced immediately to avoid more cases like that to our children.
I read the gandmother of Chris knew he was a sex offender and she alerted her grandson about this man, and the community but nobody would listen to her, I wonder why...
