I hope she is alright. As other answerers said, you need to call the police. Maybe you can email them her photo with descriptions. Does she have any neighbors? Definitely call the police.

You could also try calling her neighbors. I know you said out in the middle of no where, but everyone has neighbors. Even if they are a mile or two away! Talk to the Houston police station, they can at least check her house or see if her vehicle is home. ANd talk to them about getting involved with the San Antonio police.

Go to your local police station and file a missing person's report. The police in your city will send a report to the city that your mother went to (San Antonio) so they can begin to look for her. They will ask for you for many details so be ready to give them the data that they want. The information may still be in your computer hard drive and they can find out who the guy is and where he lives. Do you have any copies of emails that went back and forth between your mother and this person? Important. The computer may be the key to your solving the problem.

Ok, Texas cop here, call the Houston Police Dept. Report her as missing - if they take it, they might not - indicate she may be the victim of foul play, don't be talked out of it. Truly think your answers through. Get as accurate description of her as possible everything from scars, marks or tattoos. Hair color, eye color, hair style, length, height, weight. The style of clothing she liked to wear. Where she was going, the gentleman's name and address, his phone number. HPD may call San Antonio to do a welfare check on his house to see if everything is alright. Give an email address or good number you can be reached at. Be prepared to call back daily for updates. I've listed then number below. Good Luck.

1st off you need to contact the local police/sheriff dept in your mother's city. Be sure to provide any/all on your mother as well as the guy she went to visit. If you have any phone numbers those would be helpful as well. They can be traced to his residence. Another thing...be sure to mention your mother is in poor health, as this will upgrade from a basic missing persons to a more important matter. And if you know what site or how she met this guy online provide that info as well. Also if you have ever seen this guy they will need a description of him also just in case they need to look for him. If your mother is on any meds provide that info as well.
Hope all that helps...
Ps.
I'm a former police officer in case you couldn't tell....

Hello! You should probably call the police in the area that she is in or was in, I would suggest either the houston police department or the san antonio police department, possibly both! I really hope you figure out something or get ahold of her!

The Houston Police Department Web site:
http://www.houstontx.gov/police/contact.htm
Phone:Missing Persons (Adults) (713) 731-5223
You must dial as: 1 1 713 731-5223 as you are out of country.
The web site has their address, phone, and an
online report section. (try to contact her one more time and then report this to them. I hope that she
is all right.) (She might not even ended up where she intended on going if she met the guy on line!!)

Call the Detective Squad in the county where she lives and ask for them to pursue this on your behalf. They will know what to do. And don't waste a minute. Go to switchboard.com and get the sheriff's number. If all else fails, I'd fly home and handle it! She's your mother, for gosh sakes! You can't just keep calling? Do something else. good luck and let us know if you find her.
