Explain it to the judge. You obviously were not trying to get away with anything since you basically remained at the scene. Maybe the officer should have made his signal clearer. It seems to me that you did obey the officer when he waved for you to turn left and also when he directed you to return to the intersection. You have an arguable case.

Of course. Saves time and sends a message. Can also cite multiple parties in the same vehicle (ie= seatbelts, open containers, etc.)

Yes, I've seen them lined up in 'speed traps.' Some of the little towns near me are really more populated speed traps than they are communities. Some of Texas' best just sit there and pull them over as they drive through. One after another. Guilty or not.

Police can do just about whatever they want too. My advice for you is when you meet a cop, be pleasant and honest. That way, you will not ride the lightening or have his night stick cracked over your head.

yes it's so annoying sometimes. i got pulled over and my friend and an open beer in the car. she got cited for open intox. i got cited for "transporting an open container"
total BS.
