Do you think that websites that look at the crime issue in South Africa, can be
biased in some way, and maybe they are not giving South Africa a chance to
prove itself........Also in the light of crime being such a sensitive issue worldwide,
do you not think that in the fight against crime in South Africa, we should be
acknowledging the good work done by the South African Police over the last
12 years, instead of criticising, I see a lot of developments and improvements
all around, we are to polarised in our thinking, and are not looking at the situation
in a balanced way, what do you think..........................................................................

I think that policing in South Africa is good, and have seen a lot of improvements
in everything in the last 12 years, what do you think....................................................

What are you views, because I see them out there everyday morning noon and
night in all weathers, and when I think of those Police out there, I think that they
have definitely stepped up the fight against crime in the last 12 years or more........

What do you think, because I think that we should be with the Police 100% in
terms of support for them, because they are so crucial to our winning the
fight against crime.......................................................................................................

UNITED AGAINST CRIME IN SOUTH AFRICA, united with the Police as communities,
we should be standing with them to deal with criminals not standing on street corners,
moaning and groaning about crime, we need to reach out and take those POLICEMEN
and womens hands and fight crime together, I agree with the President on this issue,
what do you think about what I HAVE said.......................................................................

The shocking trial and sentencing of the youths (or at least claim to be youths) who killed/were involved in the killing of a woman holding a baby at a christening and then a week later stabbing a girl who had supposedly 'disrespected the killer'. Read the story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6353379.stm. It's shocking and I am sick of reading stories like this - what is our government doing to police illegal, criminal immigrants. I say force them to have dental checks to prove their age and kick them out - if you commit such a serious crime then you should lose all right to your 'liberty', don't you? These three need deporting asap - what do you think?

Recently my fiancee and I were kicked out of food city for ''Criminal Trespassing''. They wouldnt tell us why they were banning us. I think my fiancee's ex girlfriend, who works there, told her manager that we made her feel ''unsafe''. for whatever reason. I was unaware that when I shopped I made other people feel unsafe.

My fiancee just got arrested for battery and I can't afford to get him out. So I was kind of wondering if anyone out there has an idea about how long they might make him stay with a $100 bond.

I was terminated from probationary employment because I had my personal cell phone and a folding pocket knife on my person while on duty. The cell phone was turned on silent mode and I did not use it while on duty. I had the cell phone as another form of communication in case my radio was incapacitated. The pocket knife was legal in every respect as per California P.C 12020. The duty Sgt. gave me a formal write up and, when passed to the BRAND new Lt., the Lt. decided to terminate me. I loved my job and would love to get back into law enforcement. Long story short... What are my chances?

Is Legalization of Drugs the way to go for America? Why so? In 1977, Alaska legalized marijuana, but it failed to meet the goal of lowering the consumption and sale of it. Why would that be happening now if we were to legalize them? It's 30 years from then.

"The requests come in on a daily basis," said Monique Bond, spokesman for the Chicago Police Department. "It takes valuable resources off a street. Police really don't have time to escort a production crew or [let it] film our work."

The department's position, which some cynics attribute to a distaste of prying eyes, is a philosophical one, Bond said.

"Law enforcement is not entertainment, and crime is no joking matter," she said.
Which reason do you agree with and why?
