The general public's attitude to the law!! Why do people complain when they get caught parking where they're not supposed to? It's like speeding cameras, whether you agree with them or not, the simplest way to avoid them is not to speed!!! Whether one agrees with a law or not is irrespective, it's a law. Don't break it, don't get caught!

Unfortunately, most parking wardens do seem to have a bit of an attitude, but whether that's because they get abuse from the public, or because they are attracted to a job where they have that power I don't know.

Hire more law enforcement, so these guys don't have to endure uneven 16-hour shifts, no holidays, vacations, and overall they could eat and sleep better. It's an overall problem not restricted to traffic.

I once got a ticket, and I deserved it. It greatly improved my mileage during a major road trip.

What I don't like is being harassed simply for getting nervous. It all starts with a look. Separate incident altogether. Mississippi State Troopers, you know who you are.

Hey thumb-downer, get off your butt and get to a call.

nothing .... those of us who understand they have a job and need to put food on the table are understanding ... those who think they should get away with anything and everything will always be upset, even if they sent the ticket with a chocolate kiss

well instead of giving you a parking ticket, either a free Burger from Mac Ds on the back, and no fine to pay would be great

Less of the arrogance, but then some of this comes with the fact they deal with a lot of abusive members of public and they have to be like this a little bit, to be able to cope with that. I dunno, how about pink hats and fluffy ticket machines!?
