Oh my God, I hate when this happens. First of all I'm Mexican and to hear that one of my people got shot because he was persuing his dream is sad and hurtful. I don't know what exactly happened, but could the patrols over there use stun guns instead of real guns. This incident should be thoroughly investigated, if we need to be heard then we will. What are your thoughts?

If you survey average men like, what, 1 out of maybe 10-15 males in the US have mustaches. Unless you check police officers. Then it's about 8 out of 10. A holdover from a bad 70's macho gene? (Meant to be a fun question, but you have to admit it's true. Has to be a reason.)

Ok i've been blocking radars for years slamming on my brakes just in time before the radar bounces off my car. However, I just got hit with a laser yesterday and my detector went crazy. I slammed the brakes and was doing 87 in a 70 but he never stopped me. I heard lasers need something to reflect such as a front license plate, head lights etc. Does anyone have any ideas how to avoid a laser besides a laser jammer?

On the DMV website, I just found the "Bill of Sale" form. He is going to sign that, and I'm wondering if I have to show that to the DMV FIRST or can I just take THAT form and show it to the Police Department with his signature and they'll let me take out the car that now belongs to me? I'm asking this because it's Sunday and DMV's aren't open, and Monday is a holiday!!! Thanks in advance!

I received a curfew ticket in the ever lovely city of Northridge, California on a trip visiting from out of town (San Francisco) many years ago. Never went to my court date and instead had my father muddle the whole situation by writing and calling. That was the last I heard about it. Nothing has been paid since my case was never heard. I'd like to know any of the answers to the following: 1) what's the severity of a curfew ticket (citation or misdemeanor?), 2) depending on its severity, did the offense disappear from my record when I turned eighteen? 3) could said curfew ticket prevent me from getting a drivers license? 4) if the ticket still exists, what's the best way of handling it even after this long length of time? I have a photocopy of the original ticket somewhere.

Me and my roomate were arrested in our home for possession of alcohol in a dry county and 15 charges of providing alcohol to a minor(above 18 but under 21). We live outside of city limits. Do the cops need a warrant to arrest us inside our home? They also came back and searched our place while we weren't here, all of my stuff was gone through. Its funny we actually didn't even buy alcohol for anybody. And they said we had budlight but nobody was drinking budlight. I have stacked up budlight boxes for a computer desk :) Also on our affidavit it says the court date is Jan 13 2006, but we all know that it is now 2007. Can this help to get the charges dropped? We went to court yesterday and they told us that our case was being transferred to the Justice Court. We were also not read our rights or told what we were being arrested for when they put us in cuffs and made us sit on the couch in our home. I demanded to know what I was being arrested for and they kept saying just wait, just wait.

My apartments have a team of guards that patrol at night. I understand private property, their rules, if you don't like/obey then you'll be asked to leave and I am fine with that. I'm just curious as to how much authority the guards have.

Can they handcuff and hold you if you haven't committed a crime, only a misdeamnor such as having an open beer or being a drunk minor? And if you tell them you are willing to leave the property?

More importantly, is resisting arrest, running from, or telling off guards illegal in any way?

And before anyone rips me a new one, I don't have a problem with 9/10 of our guards, I don't break any laws, I'm 21 and have the utmost respect for security guards and our management, I'm glad they are here. There is just one paticular guard who seems to have a personal vendetta against myself and friends and complaints to management don't work. So we just want to make sure we aren't breaking any laws before we decide to take matters into our own hands.

if the murderers didn't kill themself more people may have been injured or killed because the cops just hid behind the cars shooting with their 9mm or 45. yeah thats gonna do it. u have a 9mm and the ohter guy have an assault rifle.
