Oh my God, I hate when this happens. First of all I'm Mexican and to hear that one of my people got shot because he was persuing his dream is sad and hurtful. I don't know what exactly happened, but could the patrols over there use stun guns instead of real guns. This incident should be thoroughly investigated, if we need to be heard then we will. What are your thoughts?

I heard this story on the news and as a daughter of mexican immigrants myself, i was hurt.. The guy that was shot and killed, was not even killed by armed officials such as the border patrol.. he was killed by these minute men, that are not sworn officials!! they are regular civilians that are taking things into their own hands!! but why aren they aprehended?? Why does this society let there be such hatefull organizations that think that they can take the law into their own hands?? Where are government officials when you need them??

Ok, I'm getting tired of this stuff. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS DO COMMIT VIOLENT CRIMES!! THEY DO TRY TO KILL BORDER PATROL AGENTS!! And it's not the immigrant patrol. First off, they are illegal aliens. Don't like it then get your congressman to change the law. That's the legal definition, get over it.

Second, they have knives, stick, rocks and even guns. You don't think a rock can kill then you need to think again. Pick up a rock and try to throw it at a cop and you're gonna get shot. Get over it already. If they were such good people they would take the return to Mexico and try again later the same day. Most aren't getting deported, they just get driven back to Mexico (only a few miles even.)

Stun guns SOMETIMES will stop a person. When a person is trying to seriously hurt or kill you then you don't give them a love tap and ask them nicely to stop.

Personally I think we (that being the U.S.) should build two fences along the mexican border about 100 yards apart. And anyone caught inside the two fences can be shot by police, farmers, border patrol, sport hunters, just about anybody with a gun. And have the military do random patrols just for the live training. The wetbacks that make it out alive should then be able to get a green card. That's pretty much my views on it. Or if they want to be here so damn bad give them citizenship and ship them to Iraq. After 5 years service they can come back and stay. Either way as long as lots of em get killed before they are legalized I'm happy.

I care about the criminal Immigrants who went about the approach by skill of the right channels, they are those getting screwed in this amnesty nonsense. And in case you do not care, per chance I could ahead each and each of the unpaid clinical charges from NYC's 10 substantial hospitals for clinical remedies that those illegals bilked them out of. And even as your baby's coaching will grow to be sixty 5% non-English speaking Anchor children that require your college district to be sure severe priced bilingual attending to entice close classes, you'll care. in the experience that they arrive right here, assimilate and quit progression those fatherland ghettos, Mexican, chinese language, South people, all an same. and that all of them have more suitable youthful little ones than they could have sufficient money and only suck the social structures dry.

Border patrol need to protect themselves. Stun guns are toys against real guns. Anyone that wants to come to this country should do so LEGALLY.

If they started using stun guns, you guys would still be upset. And as far as him just following his dream, he was freaking breaking the law, officers and the like just dont go around shooting people for no reason, so get off of it.

i have not heard. i do think it's sad if this was just someone trying to cross the border. but it is illegal. they knew that and wanted to take that risk.

if it was a drug runner, then no, you'll get little sympathy from me.

eta: i wouldn't have a problem with them using stun guns, but what about the people who use real guns when they come over to bring drugs?

Keep up the good job, Border Patrol. It's illegal and costing the U.S. maybe millions to keep them out.Do your homework stun guns are now controversial because actual U.S. citizens are being killed with them every year.

I agree. I watched a documentary on Mexicans attempting to cross the border, and they were not in any position to use force or fight back. Some of them die from dehydration trying to get over here, its horrible. Made me count my blessings.
