Law Enforcement & Police - January 2007

We had a friend kill himself over the weekend. He evidently shot himself with a shotgun. They declared it a suicide because when he was found rigor mortis had set in and the gun was still in his hand. I am hardly a gun expert, it has been years since I have hunted or shot any shotguns or rifles. But I dont understand how he could successfully shoot himself and still have the gun firmly in his hands. (kick back etc) I hate to sound paranoid about it but this just isnt what you would expect of this guy. I talked to him hours before it happened. His girlfriend is kind of a head case - said she never heard a thing, found him in the morning. Our police department is more like Barnie Fife central. Could he really have done this to himself????

My best friend has been taken to jail last night. Can someone only get him out after he has seen a judge? What actions can be taken to get him out as soon as possible? He was charged for tresspassing after his mother and him got in a fight and called te police to put a tresspassing law against him. He was unaware of this and went into his own house and got arrested. How would I go about getting him out of jail?

i took out 2 loans with different banks 7months ago and cant afford to pay them back. i have now run away from the problem 4 times as these banks have payed to get a private investigator to get me. i was told by the investigator that hes filling a case against me in court and it dont look good for me to keep running. i no longer have an account with these banks. these loans are huge.

what will happen to me if he catches up with me.

no sarcasm and horrid comments as i know i have done wrong and if it wasnt for my kids i'd have giving myself in. i also have a warrent out for my arreat over this.

He was a black guy convicted of murder around 1996 i think. At that time i was in college doing an essay on George Bush. Apart from trying to get laid also. But seriously, this guy was convicted and just before they executed him it came out that the shooter wasn't even black. The new witness stated that he saw the shooter and he was white. Anyway, all this was going on in George Bushs' patch in Texas. George was in charge of the prison at the time because he governor of Texas. I am sure because George was white conservative politician this guy was condemmed to death. Anyone answering check it out in your press at that time, its all true. George is a ###ker!! If he was a friend of mine i would watch my back!!

Due to some recent legal trouble that could very well mean the rest of life in jail, is "turning states evidence" something to consider? Mainly because of the types of charges and the connection to other people, and knowing that in this situation the other people would only be thinking about themselves.

This is a three part question:

First I have to tell you this:

There was a horrible serious rape/molest in my neighborhood. The police said it is not a priority case. They did nothing. People know the details of what happen. Sad to say but true, people would give the police what they need to arrest the criminals if there was a reward for information. So, here are the questions.

(1) How do you go about getting money donations that would be used for reward for information?

(2) What kind of bank account can the money be placed in so that it can not be touched except for the reason it was collected?

(3) What serious group, organization, individual, etc. do you go to for help with this?

What is the deal why are cops ***** why do they abuse their power search your car for no reason and give lame tickets because of the quata or time of the year. Cops protect people dont get me wrong but they are also just like salesmen they probably get incentives for writing even the most pathetic tickets like 5 miles over in a 35 zone I dont get it they are buraeucrats they make up lies even though the money really goes to the department or county.

My 10 year old grand son and I were feeding the ducks at a nearby pond. A white van slowly edged its way to where we were. The van stopped for a short time. In the back, holding the passenger side door slightly open sat a man who looked like he might pop out and grab the boy. The van left and went to the back of a parking lot across the street and sat for a while. I made sure we stayed in the busy area and that we did not give any idea as to where we were going. It slowly came to the street and left but it hung around for twenty min. and nobody got in or out. Should I have called the police. Am I paranoid? The sight of that man in the back holding the door is like a nightmare only real. What would you do if you were in our situation?

I really can't decide which orginazation to join. I love the aspect of Law Enforcement in which you show up to different scenes to help people, no matter what the situation. I don't really just wan't to be sitting in a car and only handing out speeding tickets all day for months on end. I'd like to do more than that. I enjoy the Highway patrol because many consider them to be the "Elite" of LE. But, I like the Aspect of PD where you show up to someone's house to help out with their problems, and working a specific town for years.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Recently the state drug investigator visited a friend of mine after they had busted her ex-boyfriend for drugs while serving a PFA she had gotton on him. He told my friend that if she decided to sit down and answer questions honestly about a former boyfriend and some of his friends then she would not be federally indicted based on statements from others he had already against her. She strongly does not want to answer their questions for fear of her life. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
