When my son was a little boy he wanted to be a Police Officer. Now he's not so sure. I want some good reasons for him to consider it again.

If you're not a Police Officer skip this question. I don't need stupid dribble from people wanting to bash the Police.

So far the best experience is taking the abuser away from the wife. She and her child could sleep at night knowing that dad won't hit mom and herself., not only physical but emotional trauma that can arise from domestic abuse. The hardest part of the job was to understand the law elements. There are some many worth while reasons the job is worth it.

So far I have learned a lot about myself when going through the academy, to make myself strong and to help find who I am. Remember to tell your son the profession is what you make of it, to cherish the pros but to learn of the cons.

Best wishes,
Mike

i do not recognize the position Michael were given the theory that you're allowed to attempt weed six circumstances, yet thats basically not genuine. It really would not be counted what number circumstances you smoke marijuana, basically that you're at modern-day not a consumer. sure, you'll undergo a polygraph try in the course of the using procedure, and BE honest on your solutions about drug and alcohol use. you would receive a chance to describe your self in the time of an interview, and in case your list is in the different case sparkling, you shouldn't difficulty about it. I smoked quite some circumstances previously I grew to develop into 18, replied sure in the course of the polygraph and defined that i became only a stupid youngster on the time, and handed. i have been a Police Officer for 31 years now, and counting, so i'm exceptionally particular a moderate indiscretion will be missed through the interview panel. do not sweat the small stuff baby. you've more desirable major issues on your concepts like passing all of your classes. solid success

Truely saving a life. I have had the fortunate chance to save a person's life. It was the greatest feeling anyone, not just a police officer, can have.

Well, what kind of answer did he just give you !! What a power freak. That is not the reason most people become police officers. I hate the arrogant ones, cops or not ! It makes you not like the rest when you meet idiots like power freaks that think they are better than the public because of the job they chose. They are there to serve the public, and I like most of the ones where I am at, because they treat you with respect and dignity ! Like we deserve.

Saved a old lady from falling down of her unit at nine floor. She was holding on to the window grill when I pulled her into the unit. She was not committing suicide, just accidentally fall out of the window while cleaning the window.

I especially like the beating up negroes part of my job. Like most other police officers, I am a terrible racist, and black people piss me off. Stealing cocaine from rich white kids and sex with underage prostitutes is nice too.

The power to arrest is the best thing that happens to a police officer.

get to bully people, have sex with underage girls and break the law without consequence. free food is an added bonus.

in all seriousness i have seen too much of what i posted about cops, some were my friends. i have seen some good people turn bad, just by becoming cops. but i grew up in a small corrupt town. i wouldn't let my son become a cop. the truth is not bashing.
