Per-Call-Blocking:

* USA: Dial *67 before you dial the number. If you have Caller ID blocked permanently, dial *82 to unblock for a given call.
* United Kingdom: Dial 141
* Dial "0" to reach the Operator, and have them place the call for you
* Dial the call using a pre-paid phone card, or dial from a pay phone

Permanently Block Caller ID:

* Dial your local telephone company and have them add Caller ID block to your line. Note that phone companies are allowed to charge for this service

Dial *67 and then the phone number. It is only a one time block.

I believe for a one time block, it is *67 then the regular phone number.

Most places in the U.S. you push *67 then the number.
The other way that is a lot more trouble, is you fit them with a cardboard box that covers their head (especially eyes) and this blocks them from seeing your phone number.
The last way (and most criminally liable) is to paint their eyeballs black, or gouge them out.. Again this is not a tactic most court systems favor and may result in loss of your phone dialing privileges except to make collect calls on Sundays.

*67 . But the person you are calling will be able to block incoming calls that have the number concealed.

I have been using *82. Looks like I was wrong. Everyone else is using *62. I must be stupid. That sucks because I use my cell phone to call people while on patrol. Opps!
