and he follows me for the next ten miles, close, tailgating. The whole time his wife is on her cell phone. He eventually pulls up beside me on the highway and signals to me that he called the cops on me. Now, Im not the least bit worried about this dipshit, or the cops pulling me over, but what im wondering is CAN the cops pull me over on an anonymous tip for giving someone the bird? Im pretty sure that whoever answered the phone at dispatch just laughed and said whatever, but what are the chances that some overzealous cop with a chip on his shoulder will pull me over? and do they even keep track of that crap?

My friend just found out she had a warrant for writing a few bad checks. Some of which were under $50 and some of which were over $50. She wants to get this matter taken care of. She has a bailbonds man already and she has to pay $450 but the total bail is $3,000. If she has someone sign who has lived in the state and who has worked over three years than they will do a walk through with her and release her. Do you know how long after she is released from doing the walk through that she will receive the paper in the mail about her court date? This is her first offense and she is nervous. She is only 21 years old but the warrrants are two years old and we're just finding out that she has them now. Apparently they are looking for her too when she was told that they weren't. Do you think she will get jail time?

I was pulled over earlier today for having my passenger side window tinted, the tint is actually rather old and it's starting to peel at the very top however you can still see very clearly through it.

In prison (UK) I had to wear a uniform but it was jeans with a T Shirt type thing. Why do they use jumpsuits for jail uniforms in America?

If not, don't know why. We all need protection no matter where we live. And i would imagine that pepper spray would be a bit "nicer" than a gun or a knife.

The bus was pulled over on a right turn lane, main lane was open ... it was flashing, but the stop sign never came out so I thought it was ok to go. I did slow to a crawl, however the people across me and behind me all stopped , so I think I screwed up. The stop sign did eventually come out but only after I passed. Anyone know for sure?

If you don't know something like that, you can pick a specific category. (i.e. cars, purses, cellphones, ect.)

November 19th i was pulled over for expired tags. I live in Fairfax County VA. I gave the officer my license, he ran it, came back and told me that my license is suspended. I told him that I had paid an expired inspection ticket late and he informed me that's what caused it. He let me drive away, with no license, and told me to appear at court and explain this to the judge. My record is perfect besides this and I did not get notice from the DMV. My court date is coming up and I just need some help as to how to handle this in court..should I talk to the prosecutor first? What am I going to be looking at for a outcome?
Thanks for your time and help!

I would just like to comment of these people who are all claiming that a swat on the backside is "child abuse", THIS IS NUTS in this great country of ours that a parent is not allowd to disapline their child. Growing up I got spankings when I needed it and yes i said needed it, I also got my mouth slapped a few times for talking back and such. I DO NOT FEEL I WAS ABUSED, and I am a productive member of society and I turned out to be a fairly level headed person. I have never been in trouble with the law or anything like this. I will say that it can be abuse if it is taken to far.

Yesterday I was painting a building. I see a helicopter, and it has police on the side , I know go in and lock the doors if I ever see one of these, but I had to get the building painted and I went in and got my hand gun and went back to painting and this guy came out of no where ( I live on a dirt road away from the main Highway with No TressPassing signs)I asked him what he was doing and I told him that this was private property and he should stop where he was at. He started running I then motioned for the helicopter to come over to me and the police around surrounded my property I know the guy heard me tell them where he went, and they got him. Ok I know I was right to help the police, with no doubt. But he runs with about 5 to 6 drug runners known to the neighborhood thats beside our land. I don't play when it comes to protecting my family. What is legal in order to protect your family in North Carolina?
