Me and my husaband have a problem? How do we get a deed turned over in or name if we can't afford the attorny fee's . Sorry my spelling and grammer is terrible.

Can I get a notary to do it ? We just need to turn the deed over in his name but we can't pay the fees thanks.

My wife works for a large restaurant chain here in Ohio where she is a server. During open hours she is paid a "server" wage under the minimum wage (but not under minimum tip wages). After the restaurant closes should she and other servers be clocking in as regular minimum wage employees since they are cleaning up and no longer serving tables? The management says "No you can't" to them but as a former restaurant manager at a different company this was exactly what we did, strictly because they could no longer receive tips. Looking for some advice...

i'm 15 (16 in april) and my boyfriend is 18 (as of november), so there's almost a 2.5 year difference. things are great,
but i've been warned about statutory rape

i live in Massachusetts- what's the law(s) exactly? i looked it up and got "criminal inducement to get a person under 18 of chaste life to have unlawful sexual intercourse"- what the hell's that mean? is this something i should actually be worried about? more for his sake than mine. i've heard that charges can be pressed for anything sexual, not just intercourse ... fill me in please?

My drug addict girlfriend ( I just found out last week) has threatened to get a restraining order on me if I reveal to her father that she is addicted to crystal meth. Everyone I talked to says I should let her family know. If she was to die, and no one warned them what she was up to, I would feel terrible. Is there a way to explain to law enforcement that I have done nothing to deserve an order against me, I was just trying to get her help? If she does get one, how do I go about having it removed?

For instance, I met someone who had her wallet stolen and may or may not have been physically hurt. Suppose she had been. And suppose that the suspect was caught. It's certainly possible for the victim to sue the perpetrator, but in practice, what would happen? She runs the school newspaper and we've never gotten along. She has always had a problem with me.
On Wednesday I went home because I was very sick with food poisoning. Only thing was that the paper was set to go to the printers that afternoon, and there was a blank corner in the sports section, which is my section. All it needed was a photo and a caption, and the photo had already been taken.
She called my home to ask why I wasn't at school, and I told her about my food poisoning. She said I had to come to school and finish my section, I told her it would take 2 minutes and anyone else could do it. She said I had to, or she would fail me. She called my mother at work and left her a message saying I was irresponsible and rude and she was going to fail me if I didn't show up within half an hour.
So I had to call my uncle to come pick me up from home and drive me to school (in a snowstorm, no less). I did the picture and the caption in 1 minute and 30 seconds (my friend timed me).

My wife receives child support for her daughter. She no longer has primary custody of the child. My wife's father is the executor of the joint conservatorship. He does not receive the child support. Wouldn't the Attorney General's office have to be notified if the custody papers were legal so that the child support would be sent to the child's home?

so i work in retail and it gets busy around this time of year like everyone knows. WELL last night i started to get a bad headache and i figured it would go away with sleep.. it didnt, i woke up at 3am with a horrible headache and threw up twice, i fell back asleep until about 7 when i still felt like sh*t, i couldnt keep any food down, so i called into work (four hours before my shift) and told my manager i couldnt come in, she asked why and i told her... she then told me that i was expected to come in because 4 people did not show up... do you think that was right of her do do?

I work for a factory. They told all of us that even if they post a snow emergency, we still have to show up for work, or it will be counted against us. I know from the past that they say that you can be arrested if you are caught out without a very good reason. Can they really count a day against you when there is a snow emergency?

Last night, my fiance got knocked out by a guy with a cast on, and hit in the head several times with it. After he was on the ground knocked out he continued to stomp on my fiances face. And the fight was on this other guys property. He came out with a gun pointed to my fiances face. Well after some friends got this guy off my fiance he came at me in the street (not on his property) and started to choke me. When he pointed the gun in my fiances face I took a gun out of my car and put it in my jacket pocket. Well when this guy attacked me and started to choke me I put the gun to his head and it shot of once in the air and then hit my friend in his belt buckle. Thank god it was a 22 and he had a belt buckle on. Hes fine. So I went to jail after eeryone protested and said that I did it in complete self defense, and was not on his property. I was arrested and Imout now, and were now hearing that if you hit someone with a cast on your arm, its assualt with a deadly weapon? true??

I received 1000's of emails per day and can often be overwhelmed. One such occourance was thus;

a customer sent an email askin if a product comes with a warranty. and how long (is it 1 or 2 years). after talking with the buyer of the product for my company, i informed the customer that i believed that the warranty was a 2 years. 1 with my company and the other with the manufacturer.i now know the customer took this information and came up with 3 years - then purchased the item.

i later found out that the warranty was 1 year only with the manufactuere - (after 30 days warranty with us).

the customer contacted me again stating that my advice was followed and that it had become a legally binding document as he/she purchased the item due to this and expected upto 3 years warranty - i know i can provide 1 year from us and the 2nd year can be from the manufacturer...but the 3rd year?

Can all this be legally binding, as the customer has stated that he/she now expects 3 years.

The plantiff is asking the state to to enter a judgement to sell my property to satisfy said debt. The debt is an issue and in my opinion needs to be challenged. My property is co -owned with a family member who happens to be an attorney. This property was as part of an inheritence. I have never claimed the title. My partner thinks I should file Bankruptcy. I want to fight! What should I do?
