A co-worker found another co-worker to be a surrogate mother for her. They paid all of her expenses and even allowed her to move into their home so she wouldnt have to pay rent on her apartment.

Things were going along well, but now that the surrogate is in her seventh month of pregnancy, she is beginning to verbally express doubts about whether or not she can give up the baby.

Please tell me this "woman" has to give up the baby per their legal agreement...

Keep in mind, the husband's sperm was used...

My Father passed away on Nov. 18th we buried him the day before Thanksgiving. Yesterday I recieced a phone call from a woman claiming to be handling his will. She informed me that I was in his will. I snaped that "I know that." I told her that Dad's will had not even gone into Probate yet! She asked me for my date of birth!I told her that I wouldn't give that information over the phone. She then asked for my address and like a fool I gave it to her! Can she get any important information from me because of address? I am worried, should I be? Dad was 90 years old so I think people like her would figure that his Children would be seniors.
I called my brother who told me that The lawyers had told him that we should nerver give any information whatsoever and I gave this Lady my address so she could send me papers or so she claimed.

should they get sent to prison for life?

I am upset, I am sad, I am mad right now. I just learn my friend and band mate, Sandahl Burke, was killed in an accident last night. The driver of the other car was only slightly injured, but was found to be over twice the legal limit of intoxication.

People get down on me why am so against drinking in the first place. I have seen first hand what it has done to others. How can other that drink justify their careless actions? How to they justify the death of my friend?

I was at the job for 8 months, got fired because owner changed china game plans. When I rolled over the 401K, they deducted their contribution, claiming I was not vested.
I called up the 401K investment company, they said I am entitled to the full amount. I contacted my former employer but they ignored me.
Who should I complain to get a fair hearing and arbitration?

The Loksabha (lower house) passed a bill 'THE MAINTENANCE & WELFARE OF PARENTS AND SENIOR CITIZENS BILL 2007' wherein grownup children would be punished for not taking care of their parents.

The social fabric is very different in India because there is no social security as in other countries and hence with growing social problems and isolation of aging parents i believe the legislation is relevant.

i heard that some illegal mexican immigrants claim to be "foreign nationals" if they are arrested. there is a potential issue in that this might require that police transport them to and from embassy ? i also saw MSNBC dateline , the child molester show and there was an indian man, who said to the police that he was a foreign national / wanted an atty. does being a foreign national make any difference ? does this status make people more difficult to prosecute ? exempt from law ?

How come an initive gets voted on and approved by the voters and then later it gets over turned.

Doesn't this make the initive process worthless? If the people have spoken and voted something in and that it only gets over turned later. Then what is the use?

For example, a number of years ago proposition 187 (no public benefits for illegals) was voted in by the voters and then later got over turned. Does that make it useless?

I am going through a move away case and I'm moving out on my own with my kids. If I can't make it in California even though I prove to exercise responsible budgeting, I may be able to move. Does that mean bare minimal like just things we need or is there any slack for things like a small family vacation, a cell phone and things that we want but that aren't really extragavent?
