Eighteen *is* the age, not twenty one.
And it's not going to help youngsters stop drinking anyway.

All I can say, is that, if they do put it up to twenty one, they can put porn up to 21 too, and crap like that.

Why is it twenty one in the USA anyway?

A girl on the bus told me that it was being raised to 21 in the UK next year. She's a cleff. It's not going to be raised ...

I applied for government assistance and my case worker told me that the father of my children has to be placed on child support. The father of my children play an active role in their lives such as he gives me money when he has it, but like myself, he is in college and is also looking for a job to help support the children. We are very great friends and I do not need him to be on child support since he is already trying to make an effort. Is there a way that he does not have to be placed on child support after I get off government assistance?

I'm mainly looking for Amendment 9, the one that says, "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." I don't really understand what that's saying. If you know or if you know of a website like SparkNotes (which doesn't seem to actually have the Constitution) that has it in "English" that would be very helpful. :-)

Ok first let me tell you a little bit about myself my name's Gary and I'm 16 years old and I'll be turning 17 in January. So the story is that my parents are going to move to North Carolina by the end of our school year which will be between June and August but the thing is that I DO NOT want to live with them anymore. I don't get abused or anything I'm just not happy living here anymore and sometimes I seem to find myself getting depressed and I don't want that to ruin my life. Also I have a career plan set up and I'm already taking classes for it and I don't want us moving to get in the way of my path "which it will".
I currently have a job getting paid $5.85 an hour which isn't much but at least it shows that I'm willing to work and I have a friend that I'm pretty sure will let me live with them.
I have another option if emancipation doesn't work and that is to drop out and join the army, I'm serious about this

So I need some advice on where to start ASAP

He cuts me off in traffic seemingly deliberately and so I honk my horn furiously at him almost on his bumper. We get to the next intersection and he gets out of his car, some white guy who looked like a discount suit salesman and he starts taking pictures of my license plate, inspection and registration stickers, and me and this douchebag tells me "You have no idea who I am." I told him "I don't give a **** who you are, you can suck my **** though." He walked back to his car and we went our seperate ways. This idiot can't do anything with those pictures can he? I mean, he can't prove anything from it. What do you all think?

I got an email today saying:

The reason they site is that I downloaded something on bittorrent. I thought that an isp wouldn't share any info unless its something serious like a criminal investigation.

I get free food and pick some up today somehow the trash people knowing that I am throwing can of food away and it coming from them. Some of the food that I get are no good and the cans food don't have expire date on them. I know when you go to store and get them they have expire date. Is there a law on that they have to put a expire date on the can of food like green beans in a can. Is there a website I can look up. I would like to know. If there is I want to show them proof that there is law with expire date need to be on. That one reason I am throwing them away. One time it didn't look good when I open one of the cans. They could get into trouble doing that I need to make sure is a law on to put expire date on those cans..

Can LEGAL AIDE be sued? Legal aide is supposed to be there for people that are not able to afford the price of a lawyer. In the state of Missouri. A disabled man was denied help cause legal aide allready had files on his wife. Remember now. The man is disabled, cant work. Then the mans wife called to get help and she was granted help. Now the wife works a 40 to 50 hour a week job. Makeing $13 an hour. And has nothing to pay for but rent and utilities. On the other hand the DISABLED man is takeing care of there four children with no help from the wife. The wife doesn't want the children but for one day every two weeks. There has been a couple of times where the wife took the children and hid them for a few days the dropped them off down the street from the husbands family members. With out anyone knowing. But LEGAL AIDE is still helping her try to get custody of the children. There are so many other things to. CANT this guy sue LEGAL AIDE?

My ex-wife called and demanded I pay 80 percent of my son's glasses. I told her I would pay half and she said i needed to pay more. I'm just curious if vision is considered medical. I will pay what I have to pay for my son to be able to see, however, she consistely threatens to take me to court for everything. I pay exactly what I'm supposed to and much more. I think this should become a felony. If you drive without at least liability insurance you go to prison if you have an accident. If you aren't responsible enough to maintain proper insurance then you aren't responsible enough to drive.

The main reason is that insurance companies are probably protected by our government. It's a big money maker to have responsible driver's get not only liability but also uninsured coverage.

If you can't afford to pay insurance then ride the bus or walk. I am very irritated that I have to pay to protect myself from these people. It's wrong and people should not be able to get away with it.

It just dosn't add up. Alchohol obviously does more harm to others when abused than cigarettes do. Cigarettes do more harm to the user, with the exception of second hand smoke. Alcohol not only dammages the abuser, but also the people around them. I mean when alcohol is abused it ends with someone hurt, car accidents, mood swings, etcetera. the list is endless. The government must be really ignorant and corrupt not to relize this. I don't smoke or drink, but I can definately tell when laws should be made and against what they should be made. Honestly, If the government is this stupid, they might as well legalize pot, crack, and heroin as well.
