this is so wrong and is it the message we should be giving, like 'naughty naughty' slap on the wrist 'now don't do it again'? The original sentence should have stuck for gosh sakes, what is wrong with the Judiciary of the blessed UK are they all losing the plot?

I purchased a amplifier which was supposed to be 1000 rms watts @ 2 ohm mono. I called them to verify and they said that is is max power and not rms and i need the power to be RMS watts and nto MAX. Their website states this.

I called and they said it is 500 rms @ 2 ohm and not 1000. I purchased specially for my subwoofer that has to have 1000 rms watts. What could i do?

I'm intrigued, a friend of mine and myself have an ongoing argument as to what would happen if, when questioned by the police and with no form of prior, visual, other information, fingerprint or anything at all available to them to identify you, you refused to give any details whatsoever. We do recognise that you'd be 'arrested' for obstruction of justice but could you be brought to trial in the UK? (as technically speaking all uk cases are 'Her Majesty vs. [NAME]' and without a name could they take you to prosecution). Also, could they create some form of criminal record for you? This is all asusming that you did something worthy of more than a basic arrest.

I was a defendant in a lawsuit and in a settlement offer agreed to make monthly payments to the plantiff. I send the payments to the plantiffs attorney and not her directly. I make the check to a Trust Account." WHY? My accountant and my lawyer think that her lawyer is ripping her off for the money.
That is OKAY by me but I wonder if she is getting any of the money.

I am pursuing a lawsuit of an accident. I recently found that my lawyer's license is on probation until 2009 because of his fraud a couple years ago. I would like to know if this lawyer is legally to do his business during the probation period?

I was a just-turned 18 senior. she was an almost 16 sophomore. we were dating. We "parked." I made out w/ her, felt her boobs, kissed them, and we did mutual masturbation. I want a career, most likely governmental law enforcement, where I can help others and beat the bad guys so to speak. I think there is a reason for everything that happens. I believe that sometimes, it's necessary to fight or kill. Not everything is black and white.

My 13 year old granddaughter was raped, my son in law is one of these born again Christians, he refused to allow her to be given the plan B pill, she is now pregnant, my daughter wants her to have an abortion, she is already mentally scarred, and on an IV drip in hospital due to excessive vomiting the doctors have said in her case a termination is best, she is very small and will no doubt need a C-section, my SIL is refusing to allow it, does my daughter have any legal grounds to take him to court and force a termination, my granddaughter does not want to go through a pregnancy and her therapists say it would be detrimental to her mental health, as to her physical. She will miss time from school, be physically scarred if she has a C-section or have to under go intense pain of labor, he just can't see she has suffered enough!....They live in NY state.

I was stopped by the police this morning and they said that they had saw me using my mobile phone while driving.

I swear on my grandchildren life that I was not using it . I hadn't used it all since yesterday. I had been scratching my left ear.They said I had it at my right ear. I immediately offered them my phone which was in my bag and asked them to check the call records to show when my last call had been made,received etc. they said they didn't have to do that.They had both seen me and that was enough.

I refused to accept the fixed penalty charge so now it's going to go to the procurator fiscal who will decide if any charges follow.

As soon as I got to work I phoned the police station and was told that the officers hadn't done anything wrong.

I phoned Orange and asked them to send me an itemised phone bill with times on it, they said they can only do that for calls I have made and not ones I had received.

I don't know what else to do. help

There has apparently been another bus beating on an MTA bus in Baltimore.

WBAL-TV reports that two men aboard the #64 bus in Brooklyn claim they were attacked by a group of 7 black teens. The two men say they were attacked because they were white. They also claim the bus driver refused to call police for them.

This comes less than a week after a white woman was beaten on a bus. 9 black middle school students have been arrested in that case.

where is the reverend al sharpton, the defender of EQUALITY? why is he nowhere to be found in these racially motivated beatings?

On Nov 13th I was rear-ended by an 18 wheeler I owed $8,000 on the explorer that was later totaled but the 18 wheeler company only wants to give $6,000 for the vehicle and told me to find a new vehicle. Hub and I don't have the $2,000 for what we still owe or a $2,500 down payment for a replacement vehicle what do I need to do to get back on the right track with my life? I am 15 years old. I live in and Texas where the laws are diffrent from most states. I was taking advantage of sexually by a 18 year old guy while I was under the influence of marijuana. It was my first time to try it so I was unaware of how my body would respond. ( I was totally out of it) It has been a little over a month and I have kept it to my self because it was my fault for smoking weed in the first place and ecspecially around him...even though I never would suspect him to do that. I have a check for $50,000 issued to me from a life insurance company. I already decided to take it to a check cashing place despite the fees. (I don't want to discuss why I don't have a bank account). Will the check cashing business hold the check? If so, for hold long?

I spoke on the phone with the owner of one of these places. He said they may hold it for a day, or cash some of it now and give me the rest later. That doesn't seem right. Does anyone know for sure? I am in Michigan, if the laws matter.

I received a ticket for consumption by minor when I was 20. I am 23 now and have to go to court to fix it. I realize I should have taken care of it then, but I was stupid. So now I need to take care of it and the court states that I have to appear before a judge because sometimes they make you go to classes. Anyways, is there anything that I can do to maybe avoid classes or not have to pay the big fine.
