Just curious if there's a law or not saying they can arrest pregant. Pregant are somewhat a delicate matter if you think about it. So if any could answer I would appreciate it.

This is kind of an after the fact question, meaning I already have the gun.
I bought it from a woman whos husband died.
It's a snubnosed black S&W .38 revolver and has never been fired.
I thought $250 was a fair price and so did she.
So I gave her the money and took possesion of the gun.
So now that I have it I want to do everything proper.
I am 30 have never been arrested so I'm good there, and like to keep it that way.
What all do I need to do, in order to make the purchase ok.
I'm afraid to call and ask the Police and then end up having it confiscated b/c I did something wrong.
Also if your a anti handgun activist, please don't give me your opinion. I respect those who don't want a gun, but I choose to.

Ok so I worked for this company and made 12.50 an hour plus a discount on my apartment. This new company came in and told us no pay or rent discounts would change. Next thing I know, they'd cut my to $11.11 plus my apartment discount (because my apartment discount was factored into my pay, which is stupid. So $11.11 + my apt discount = $12.50.) I found this out on the 30th of July, but the notice came down to my boss on the 18th and I was never told. Now that I've moved out my pay should go back up to $12.50 right? No! They say they're going to leave it at $11.11 an hour. Do I have any rights in this matter??

I vividly recall how extremely important the very first cable news channel was. Years went by, and then others appeared. But unbelievably enough, instead of competing against each other in a professional way with the most amount of important news from every corner of the world, they just repeat endlessly only four or five news pieces throughout the day and night. Of course with the insertion of the dumb news about the dumb celebrity getting into more trouble.

And needlessly to say the irresponsible, unprofessional, and maybe even unethical, manner of pinpointing only the bad in the political party opposing their views, thus leaving out all which could benefit the viewers in terms of true journalism.

This saddens me so much!

I currently work in a financial consulting firm in California and I have been working here for a little over two years. In October, I will be going out of the country for a length of 3 months and hence I decided to quit my job. I was wondering if I could still get unemployment benefits if I voluntarily quit my job?

1) If they get suspended of banned all they have to do is create another account.
2) People always seem to get offended but has anyone remembered our bill or rights? I will give you a hint. WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
3) If people don't like what you have to say ignore it, other people might like it.
4) Just because it is wrong in society to be bigots, critizise, or speak your mind, in other societys it is perfectly fine.
5) Everyone and anyone has the right to say what they want and if you don't like it to bad because you can create as many accounts as you want so just let it be.

girlfriend left and still has a lot of stuff at my place. i own my own home. she had chosen a day to come get her things 5 times and has only showed up once. there is still a lot remaining and she says she wants it. Now i want it out of my house as quickly as possible. She will name a day and contact me the day before and say she cannot make it. Is there legal action i can take that would require her to either remove the items from my property or possibly forfeit ownership of it so i am not liable when i throw it away or refuse to let her on my property? It has almost been 3 months since she has left. also this would be in the state of Pennsylvania

My boyfriend's ex wants to charge him child support, but I don't think that it should be allowed since she was 21 when she got pregnant and he was only 16! Isn't there some law to exempt him from paying since this is sagitorial rape?

i dont understand why the age to buy alcohol is still 21. If the US considers an 18 yr old as an adult who can vote, buy cigarettes, drive, go to college, etc., why cant they purchase alcohol? Everyone knows that 18 yr olds drink alcohol anyway, why not give them the right to purchase? I am over 21, but before, as an 18, 19, 20 yr old college student, it felt stupid that i had to get an older person to buy alcohol, when i considered myself an adult.

Is there anyway the age limit will be lowered? do you think it ever will?

Can you file on 6 payday loans? I heard you had to be 30 days away from filing from the time you took out these loans. Also in Kentucky it is state law you can only take out $500 max, and I have out about $2,200. Is this a felony?

I live in california and in January of 05 the section 24400 of California motor vehicle laws became effective. It states that the center of the headlamp must be between 22 and 54 inches. I moved here before that and my car was modified but was still legal at that time. After 24400 was amended I was pulled over about 6 months later and given a ticket for my headlamp being 20". I tried to fight it in court but it felt like I was guilty until proven innocent. The judge stated to me unless i went to a peace officer and i got it fixed i was guilty.

Basically I feel like I am being prosecuted and convicted guilty for something that i'm innocent for. Now i am breaking the law because you changed the law, and that is crap. It would probably take 400 dollars for parts and labor to change back to factory height.

I took it up the *** this time, but next time they really need to get the shaft.

I came across Buildwill.com for creating a will. It cost roughly $50. Is it ok to do online will, compared to getting it done through attorney? My will is really simple, with no extra things attached. One attorney I contacted, is asking $250 for doing the will.

Please advise. (I live in CA)

Identity stolen. Person used it to register a car and run up charges on a cell phone account that he opened.
The car incedent was already taken care of in court. (Decided that it was not me who opened it, but it was State vs. Person, I was not included).
The cell phone, just got a police report and sent it to the colection agency.
---
Now that i took care of all of that, with an average lawyer, how much would I be able to get (suffering, etc).
