I am not a Micheal Moore fan, but as a Registered Nurse I felt he nailed the American health care system dead on. I think our country is in need of Socialized medicine. What are your thoughts?

When we moved in, we were promised 24 hour security, and other things. On 2 occasions my brother got his headlights stolen, and the apartment office would not do anything about it. They also deny any claim to promising security and they gave my parents a cock and bull story about them having security already being in place when we moved in. They put up a security gate that doesn't work, people ram it, theres holes in the gates around the complex that people sneak in and out of as well. Would I have a good reason to sue or what types of legal action can we take?

Roberts, Scalia, Thomas, Kennedy and Alito are now the majority. All but Kennedy are Ivy League graduates.

This certainly isn't representative of the US population which is 24% Catholic.

Because I didn't get paid for the story, it would be my property not theirs, right? The conditions of working for the company includes payment for my work, I don't submit work for free.

The campground is under a patenership, I own over 70percent, my grandparents and sister the rest. If my cousin gets busted, will my property and business be seized as well?

I was arrested and charged with a crime. After looking into my background the state upped the charge. Online it says that this coming court date is scheduled for a presentment. What does that mean? I am already out on bond, can they make me pay more to stay out now that they upped the charge? This is happening in Illinois if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Would someone explain to me how President Bush can use executive privilege to block Congressional subpoenas & the Congress’ investigation into the firings of U.S. attorneys and then maintain that the actions taken by the White House were justifiable and void of malpractice. If the actions taken by the White House were reasonable, at least in their minds, then it would seem that it would be in their best interested as an administration to allow the investigations to move forward.

Is anyone else tired of this circus?

So, now that the New York health officials are up in arms about what we put in our mouth, when are they going to get up in arms and ban America's favorite drug, alcohol? Will there be a Mothers Against Trans Fatty Acids (MATFA) aligning themselves with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to make sure that those intoxiticated with Trans Fats won't get behind a wheel and threaten the life of others out on the road? Will "Trans Fat Abusers Anonymous" chapters and support groups pop up in every city in the US for those who are having a hard time breaking the trans fat habit? Will families break apart or will people lose their jobs from self medicating with Trans Fats?!
If the government had had the good sense to keep this drug illegal many of our society's problems would not be so rampant. The government had the good sense to make pot illegal, yet no matter how many problems alcohol creates in our society they allow the continued use of this drug. Where are their priorities?

This is simply a general question. Why is it that Wills and Trusts are often disputed yet when a Gym, Tanning Salon and other known entities that straight up lie to get people to sign their life away seem to get away with it? It does not seem like it should be legal to lie to someone fraudulently manipulate them and hear "Well you should have just read the small well written print."

A customer my co-worker was dealing with over a long course of time, mostly over e-mail, just got penalized financially for not taking care of a customer's needs. The customer says she tried and tried to get certain features added on to her account and e-mailed these e-mail conversations as "proof" to my co-worker's manager.

The problem is, is that the original e-mails sent to her from my co-worker were modified to change what my co-worker stated as well as the reply for personal gain, and was sent as "proof" to the manager. Unfortunately for the customer, the original unmodified e-mails were kept untouched on the server.

Case in Point:

(X is Company; C is Customer)

Original E-Mail:

C: I want Feature A on Acct A
X: Feature B is better
C: No, feature A plz

Modified:

C: I want Feat B on Acct A
X: OK, Sure!
C: OK, Great! Thanks!

I kid you not, it was that blatent.

So, my question to all of you, is this illegal - and if so, what crime does it fall under?
