I'm tired of the circus and yes it is totally a sham, a scam, a joke. Corrupt, is putting it nicely.

He really can't.
Even he (or at least his lawyers) acknowledge that the witnesses must still honor the subpoenas and show up to testify. The witnesses can refuse to testify, by invoking the privilege, in which case it becomes a question of how much Congress is willing to push, and whether those witnesses will be found in contempt for refusing to answer.
It's also possible that Bush would be cited for contempt, or charged with criminal solicitation for ordering people to commit contempt of congress (which is a felony).
But that's just another example of the many laws that Bush has willfully violated. He thinks he is above the law, and yes, a lot of people in this country are tired of it.

Actually I'm tierd of all politics on both sides. And all the whinners on both sides.
The Clinton period was just as rediculus if not more so.
At least with Bush we are complaining about things of a political nature and not some stupid sex scandal.
But again both sides are as guilty as hell and both sides love to point fingers when the other is in power.
But then again, at least with the Presidency we have
TERM LIMITS.
Could be a good idea all around.
Don't like him. That's fine next year he's gone either way and we will be on to the next person to compain about.

There has always been firing of U.S. attorneys so why is the big deal.
Congress is now conducting 300 investigation while their own approval numbers are lower than Bush.
As what point are you going to say this just a witch hunt?
I know as long as it is against Bush it is OK.

His view of Executive Privilege kind of blows his rhetoric about his strict constructionist view of the Constitution doesn't it?
They are corrupt. More so than most administrations. Their mismanagement and misdirection of the government makes them one of the worst if not THE worst in history.

It's ridiculous, however the problem is that a court battle will take a year or so, and by that time, Bush will be out of office. Bush knows this, so he doesn't have to do a damn thing.
Personally I think, given this info, that he and Cheney should be impeached immediately.
