A man shouldn't be punished twice for the same crime. where is it in the Constitution?

The 5th amendment. " nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb"

In the US Constitution ,the Fifth amendment which in part reads "..or shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life and limb"..

There are exceptions to this Constitutional provision .Specifically is cases of a mis-trial or a re-trial on an appeal.

It is called Double Jeopardy, but they are punished by rewriting Information Charge(s) commonly known as Indictments.

Too bad politicians get away with a lot of wrongdoing as do most rich people and especially big business owners.
