Keep me updated, im confused about the issue

This was a case in family court a few years ago where my wife stated under oath and court documents that she made x amount of money. At the time I didn't have the money or resources to check into it further and didn't think she was lying [all of this was in a very bitter divorce].

Now I have obtained her tax records for that time, and she had significantly lied about the amount of money she was making (a few hundred thousand off, so not a small amount). I lost the case the first time around basically because of the money she lied about - now I have the real details.

What can I do about this? Not to sound too mean, but I'd like to look at the most damage that I can do. Is there even a possible criminal case that could be filed somehow for perjury? What about repaying all of the backdated money that she really owes me [since she lied about the original income]? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

My apartment is $2800 a month. Our washer broke down about 5 months ago. The maintenance guys said we would need a new one and informed the landlord. We have also included a note with every month's rent reminding him to buy us a new washer. In the meantime, we're forced to do go to the laundromat, which is not only tiresome, but also expensive (at $2 a load and 6 loads a week we pay about $50 a month for laundry.) This is unfair since our rent should have covered our laundry expenses. And now he says WE need to find a washer ourselves -- he'll pay $200 and we'll pay the difference. The problem is, the cheapest washer out there is $300, not including the shipping and installation. I think it's unfair that we should have to pay $100+ for a washer that's not even ours. Isn't he obligated to pay the full price for a new washer? How can we get him to buy us a new washer? I don't know anything about tenants rights. Can we sue him for the extra $250 we spent so far on laundry?

My employer is moving locations. Does anybody know what rights the employee has or the what expectations of the employer are.

They are moving location from East to West.
Commuting issues will result bigtime.If i were quit my position would i be in the right?

What is the reason behind illegal immigrants not coming into the country legally? They would get paid better and would not have to worry about immigration getting them, etc. Is the process of legal immigration really so bad that people rather risk their life to come to live an illegal existence in America? I hope I don’t sound ignorant, I am just really wondering. A matter of time, perhaps?

The state just came and took my neice away from my sister. They gave her no reason and no kind of paper work or anything.. In fact the lady that took her never talked to my sister. Instead she talked to my mom and my brother. My mom is the one that informed her that the baby was being taken.. My sister is 18 years old. She had my neice when she was 14. She has been a great mother considering her age at the time.. She graduates High School tomorrow, and had plans of getting her own house and trying it own her own.. I thought that the parent was the one that was suppose to be talked to, and that some kind of reason was suppose to be given.. Am I wrong or did the State do something wrong? I am a mother myself and I see myself in my sister when it comes to her daughter. There was no reason for this to happen.. No reason at all.. Has anyone else experienced this situation and if so what can I do to help my sister I live over 9 hours away..

im 16, on learners and in 1 month i was gonna get my license, however i have 10 school unexcused absents, i sent in a note to exuse one of my absents but it turns out it was too late to turn in those notes for days of absents, so they didnt count but my school never notified me that they turned down the note (retards) and so im driving and i get pulled over and cop says its suspended.... how do i fix this??? how ill it affect me and getting my license???

Government has beefed up security in and around the twin towers and have started search of the premises after receipt of an anonymous letter received by police in Mumbai. The said letter threatened to blow up the twin towers on May 24. How challenging and dare devil are terrorists may be imagined by any layman and one may understand the real purpose behind this letter. It is simply to create panic in the mind of general mass and armed forces who are supposed to provide security.
Such types of letters do nothing but create confusion .Government is bound to increase security at such place, otherwise if some untoward incident occurs there, entire blame will go to government. But the point to be considered is that why the terrorist group did not give prior information before throwing bomb in Hyderabad and Gorakhpur and for that matter many times in the past and many places in the country. Obviously their aim is to confuse public and government, divert their attention in wrong direction and get success in explosion at different place where security is comparative low. This is their strategy to befool us and this is not abnormal. Any thief or Dacoit will not conduct his operation after giving prior information.
As a matter of fact, the experience of last two three decades tell us that whenever and wherever and whatever terrorists like, they have done and they can do .They have adequately exhibited their cleverness, effectiveness and firmness in their desire to disturb India and USA. They have rather publicly announced that they will not spare USA and India and that too frequently. Even Pakistan has affirmed the seriousness of the goal of terrorist due to Kashmir issue. Malicious intention of terrorist and Mr. Musharaf led Pakistan is crystal clear.
The most important matter of concern is when our government realizes from the core of heart that there is danger from the side of Pakistan and its sponsored terrorist groups working from Pakistan or Bangladesh or PoK. I say from the heart because I am not convinced by so-called Red Alert of the Government or stereo-type statement of government that security has been beefed up or we are not going to bow down by terror attacks of terrorists, or that they terrorist will not succeed in their target.
There is one after another Bomb explosion and government still says proudly that terrorist will not succeed and on the other hand damage after damage occurs, frequently innocent people become victim of such bomb blasts but government says that security have been increased,administraatin has been tightened. Obviously government is just befooling general mass and engaged in some unhealthy game of earning money.

Otherwise the same terror groups are not that much success in USA and UK
Actually in our country system of collecting information and their monitoring is very poor. Our intelligence system is very weak .Our administration is careless. Our armed forces are not that much alert and last but not the least our political leaders are not believable and they are not at all loyal to the Nation. Majority of the person concerned are busy in earning money through unfair means. When money comes in hand our all officers and babus forget the duty to their chair and their religion .
That is why we must plan to first clean the system and make it strong and loyal to the Nation. Only then there will be some improvement and people will be safer. Only loud talks, high promises and good speeches will lead us to hell.
We need wide and devoted network of persons who collect intelligence report from each and every corner of the country and their reports are properly accumulated, monitored and effectively put into action by administration to retort terrorist. Media has a greater role to play to expose the culprits weakening the country from within the country. We have to be cautious for 365 days at all places of the country. We should not be misguided by anonymous letters or phone calls .We should try to misguide them to weaken them. Rather our system should be able to know the real motive and actual plan or terrorists much before they tell and confuse us or before they put their plan into action. We have to discard the habit of conducting fake encounters to please illiterate public. Moral and dignity of our armed forces and police and administration should always be high
.Our leaders have to discard dirty politics of caste or community or reservation or temporary solution to any problem. Lastly properties of all political leaders, government officers should be assessed and any one of them having property either in his name or in the name of his family members of value more rupees. One crore should be acquired by the government This will definitely strike at the root of all maladies prevailing in the system. .

I need help with a domestic violence matter!!?
my ex husband is threating me he says he will kill me if I go to our custody hearing tomorrow5-24-07.He has a very long history of domestic violence and I do fear for my life!The proper athourites have been notified but...THEY ARE NOT doing anything! anyone have ideas??I have notifed :police, ICE,news media,newspapers included,state rep here in Waukegan...even the minute men..anyone have any other suggestions?The system here is failing me!! if there is no restraining orders, and the parents are ok with their 17 year old daughter being with her 20 year old boyfriend (it's a nonsexual relationship) but the probation officer, in her opinion, says that he's a "no good loser" and says the girl shouldn't see him, is that final? isn't that opinion slander if she's never met the guy and he has a good job, is responsible, doesn't do drugs or drink, and it's a nonsexual relationship, ect? what could be done to override the p.o.'s "desicion"

They have 2 driveways one with a garage and the one in question sits between our 2 houses.My bedroom windows happen to be on the driveway side of their house,I have talked to her about it but she says she does not have to worry about it.She leaves the car running for anywhere from 4 to 7 minuites at a time and even with my windows shut the exaust fumes get in.I have 3 large parrots in the one room and my bedroom is the other room in question.Is there some kind of law about stuff like this?The state is N.Y.I thought I read somewhere about cigarette smoke(that is also an issue here).I just need to know if there is a legal way I can put a stop to this bad neighbor doing this just to be nasty.

A question was "How many people must be joined together in order to constitute a riot or rout?" I replied with 2, which is the correct answer, but the professor said that by saying joined together, my answer was wrong. He says 'joined together' means physically combined. But if you combine the definition of joined with the definition of together, it does not mean physically combined. What is your opinion? There is a lot riding on this decision so please be precise. thanks

It may have been asked before, but if every business was closed, yes, including Wal-Mart, no working, no school, only police and ambulances and firepeople, only driving to help somebody, not just driving around, all gas stations closed except for emergencies, and possibly no boats, we could totally have a car free day. Sort of like Singapore. We would majorly help the enviroment, it could be like a super national holiday.

I have recently been told that due to health findings, I should consider drafting a will ASAP. My problem is that I ws told that the Executor of my Will CANNOT both be the executor AND receive any benefits of the will. There is only ONE person I fully trust to excecute my final wishes and I would also like to leave him some personal belongings as well in my will. Is there some way to do this?
