This was a case in family court a few years ago where my wife stated under oath and court documents that she made x amount of money. At the time I didn't have the money or resources to check into it further and didn't think she was lying [all of this was in a very bitter divorce].

Now I have obtained her tax records for that time, and she had significantly lied about the amount of money she was making (a few hundred thousand off, so not a small amount). I lost the case the first time around basically because of the money she lied about - now I have the real details.

What can I do about this? Not to sound too mean, but I'd like to look at the most damage that I can do. Is there even a possible criminal case that could be filed somehow for perjury? What about repaying all of the backdated money that she really owes me [since she lied about the original income]? Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

not trying to be flippant but perjury has become a national past time in our courts and it is very difficult to prove. if she submitted documents to the court stating her income wrong and you have evidence that those were incorrect you can certainly file a motion for finding of new facts and get the order changed.
it is extremely rare for anybody to be under oath in family court. it would have to be requested by you and it does not sound to me that you were represented by counsel in that matter. so it is highly unlikely that she was under oath.
a third year law student is going to get her out of that one, so forget your revenge get your order amended to the right amount (including back charges) and call it a day.

Document your findings and file a case of perjury in court stating that someone lied in court.
