I have a question concerning pawn regulations.
My boyfriend let a supposed friend borrow his $3000 camera and its equipment. He assisted him in taking pictures of the CW33 newsteam a few months ago. The guy, David Fowler, never gave him his camera back. He kept trying to call him and always got excuses. One day, he called him again and this time David Fowler's roommate answered his cell phone. The roommate told my boyfriend that Fowler had pawned his camera. I'm not sure of the amount but I know it was for several hundred dollars. Well, Fowler was arrested for not returning a rental car. He was bailed out of jail sometime after. My boyfriend's camera has been sitting in the pawn shop...with interest. He must pay about $900 to get it out. He TRIED to file a police report but they turned him down since it technically was not stolen property. Are there any laws or regulations that protect the victim in this case? I think it's pretty ridiculous that my boyfriend has to pay that much.

Stupid police came in my house to check up on my brother because he is on parole. First of all, one guy just came knocking my door and ask me to go to the living room. He was just going to check if there is any body in my room and the police did that to all the rooms. I mean I got pretty piss off when I ask one officer if they had a search warrant or something like that and they started to say **** like, "O we can do this because of my brother's position." Than one officer was like stop asking question because I need to learn some law first. I mean WTF do they think they are telling me I need to learn some laws before I start talking.

Anyways any tips of how to handle this situation or other please help me out.

I was told I could get a case over with and have the offense expunged from my record sooner than I may be able to if I went through the trial process. I eas hesitant to do this, but I did not want to still be in court when I graduated college. Now I find out I was lied to. I had a witness with me when I was told this. What can I do? Thank you.

years of paying attorneys has run me ionto the poor house, and i am broke. legal aid leaves much to be desired...it is no secret that our child is suffering greatly from court FORCED continued contact with her abuser...i am now being repeatedly having to appear in court to face false allegations that i am intentionally keeping our child from her father, which is justified, and would actually be functional, but nonetheless, untrue. he is bent on seeing our full destruction...not to mention just plain bent. the country needs to hold judges accountable, and force their kids to visit these sickos...but that is another topic heh

Is science inspiring murder?

And how ethical is medicine/science? the condoning of killing a preborn human, and the torture of billions of animals?

Is there a better way? Or is it all in the hands of the bad guys and ethics is for wimps?

Over the last couple of months, I have become unhappy at home. My wife is getting fat and is nothing more than a whining fat factory. She wants to get a job. I told her straight. Women belong at home in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning. We have 6 kids together. I told her she is the mother, she looks after them. Women do not have the right to education, the vote or to work outside the home. When i put that ring on her finger she became my property. It even says so in the bible. Last week i threw her and the kids out, found them a cheap trailer and moved them to the edge of town. I then moved my g/f in the house and our 2 kids, they were too noisy, so i have packed them off to live in the trailer too. I laughed at my soon to be ex wifes face, when she found out she was living with what used to be her best friend, was funny. I also have another g/f with a child due soon, should i sell up and move across country, or dump the whole lot because to be honest i don't care about any of them.

My neighbor recently reported to me that they were having trouble with their power. According to them the power co. "messed up" the lines. We told them they could run a drop cord from our property so they could have heat until the situation was resolved. They said it would only be a day or two. The next day their landlord reported to us that they had been caught "stealing" power, and they refused to pay their bill to have power turned back on. I shrugged it off because I thought they since they told us it would only be a couple of days they would handle the situation and get their power on.

Now it has been a week. I don't want to plug the plug because they have 3 babies living there, and it gets cold at night. There is about 9 living there altogether, only one works...and that is the 76 yr old man. His wife is disabled but has 4 children there, all healthy and able to work...none do or will.

Is having no heat child neglect? Can I get into trouble for running power to there home?

Employment concern....?
I just found out from a fellow co-worker that I am going to be let go from work. I work through a temporary agency through the plant and they are training a girl to do my job, and I found out about that also. I worked for a law firm before and I thought that if a company lets you go for lack of work that they can't turn around and hire someone to do the same job you were doing. Is that right? Someone please help.

ADDITION: The person that they are teaching my job also works for the temp agency. I work for a factory that has a temp agency on site that everyone must go through. I do my job really well and the only time I have missed is due to me having surgery.

I just want to know if the ish hits the fan will I be held as the legally ultimate responsible party for shipping a product that is not declared or is falsified even though I had advised my company on the possible legal consequences of doing so? Basically I would be not declaring something that ethically I had expressed is illegal to do so. Has not happened yet but I keep hearing the possibility of that suggestion in the air by the powers that be. Anyone with specific knowledge and information would be appreciated not just general ideology on the topic. Thanks
