If a minor attempts to buy salvia ,or any other herb of dubious legality, online can the company check their age though the credit card?

Sometimes it can. Some cards do have age verification but it has to be set up by your merchant provider. However, I thought herbs could be sold legally even to a minor. (Note-I am an adult)

Actually, no they cannot. I had a Visa card when I was 14 (and still have it). It is interesting that many web sites for pornography use a credit card to verify age. Age isn't actually verified at all. It is merely presumed that you must be at least 18 years of age to have a credit card.
