I sent a money gram to a wesleykennal@yahoo.com for 500.00 to buy a dog, it was a scam and I have a police report filed, they now need a physical address on the e-mail address so I take have them arrested for internet fraud. Do you have any info to help me track these people down? I know they live in Coral Springs Fl but I only have a cell # and with an account they have to have a home phone. Please send me ANY info that can help the police get them before someone else gets scammed. thank you

You need to have the police dept contact yahoo. They will give the info to the proper authorities.

Have you checked if your bank account or credit card is insured against fraud?

Many people are covered, but are completely unaware of this fact (at least in the uk)

Banks and credit card companies are very determined and much more successful than cops & internet companies in tracking down the culprits - believe me! Much more!

They have access to all sorts of info ;) and they don't like being ripped off.

Give your bank a call and see if they can help.

Best of luck anyway.

You must have had an address to send the money gram to them....the police should be able to help track them back that way...

Maybe you should contact Yahoo and ask. But what in the hell are you sending money to people on the Internet for?! I hope you don't have a MySpace account!

Yes you can do it. The COPS bear that burden of investigation.
