Is science inspiring murder?

And how ethical is medicine/science? the condoning of killing a preborn human, and the torture of billions of animals?

Is there a better way? Or is it all in the hands of the bad guys and ethics is for wimps?

...that's like saying the people who killed in the name of religion weren't inspired to kill by the religion, which is hogwash, in many situations, it was exactly that: religious inspired murder...
religion is religion could be science is just science.
But that doesn't mean it can't inspire murder, when it obviously does.
If you allow for profit of something another possesses, but you have to kill that animal, or newborn, people will do just that.

This is the slippery slope people are talking about.

I'm not sure where you found such a story, can you back it up?
Science doesn't inspire murder, science is science.
Stem cell research is very important and if everyone were allowed to donate cord blood or aborted embryo perhaps things like this wouldn't happen (f they actually are).

I don,t know if this is true, but I feel we shouldn't class killing newborn babies and animal experiments together.
