i just became engaged.i'm 33 never been married or have children, worked all my life at a good job.i have multible stocks, bonds, and savings accounts that = over 100k.my bf is divorced with a child a huge debt(30k) from his exwife with no other savings.he is a very "devoted" dad(what his son whats, his son gets) and has already told me his son is his 1st priority and he will never love me as much as his son.now add a very controling, money loving exwife to the picture that guilts my bf into giving her anything she wants.he already gave her more money/personal property than the courts ordered and continues to do so.i have played with the idea of a prenup with my bf but hes not for. its a trust thing he said.if i pushed it he might do it but it would damage our relationship.i love my bf and he loves me but i will allways be second to his son and if push came to shove i don't know what would happen.what can i do to protect my money other than a prenup?

My first night on the job the restuarant was packed, i was almost done with my 9 hr shift...we mostly serve beer and liquor, and alittle bit of food. 3 girls walk in and order a pitcher of beer ( for 2) and another orders a mixed drink. Ten minutes later, they pay their bill with me and go to another part of the bar. I never see them again. They left within the hour because we closed. Now I find out one of them had a serious car accident. My new job tells me about it and makes it like it's my fault. The girl hadnt had any to drink before she got there...she told me she just got off work. Do you guys think I am legally resposible for 10 minutes of alcohol service? Ive been in the business for 12 yrs and would have never served her if she was drunk!

I don't know how many different times I have seen that George Bush should have been hanged today. Instead of, or in some cases with Saddam Hussein.

Saddam Hussein was tried and convicted by his own people. George Bush has not been tried for anything. He hasn't even been accused of any crime in the Congress or a court of law. It is fair to express discourse you feel with the administration, but at what point did the court of public opinion become more important than the actual laws of the land. If you truly believe in the Constitution, as liberals claim they do, then why do you not believe in one of the basic tenets, which is innocent until proven guilty? If the next Congress chooses to bring impeachment then sobeit. If as a result Mr. Bush is found guilty of any articles of impeachment then I will be happy to stand with liberals and demand that justice be done, but until that time all this rhetoric goes against the very concepts you accuse the president of violating.

I am currently writing a novel based on an acquaintence of mine. I found her story of adoption and family particulary fascinating, and my book is very largely based (although I have created my own scenes and changed detalis) on that part of her life. Her character too is largely based on herslef. Is this allowed? It certainly isn't a biography, as a good portion is purely based on my own imagination; but the story as whole largely resembles 'her' story or what i see her story as being. * Her real name and others' are not used.

My opinion may differ than yours or anyones else, thats why its MY opinion, but i do have to say this. Its good that the world is free of one evil person, but it is stupid to punish someone by killing them if thats what they are eing punished for. Than what is the lesson learned. basically you are saying "you are evil, you murderer,, so0o0 now i will kill you" Is this not one of the ten commandments.. "thy shall not kill" If you agree with me add a double star with your name on the bottom of your post, i may start a petition if i get enough stars (*) and names please sign!!!

Can we consider International Law and Justice and the late President of former Iraq should have been treated as a prisoner of War with respect.

We all know that Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair with his written memo came up with fabricated proofs that the Government of former Iraq has WMD, and they rallied the Coalition of the Willing to rally behind them to attack a sovereign Nation used to be Iraq.

President George Bush has at least one achievement to his credit in his war against Saddam Hussein. He has transformed Saddam into a heroic champion in the eyes of many in the region and might elevate his status into that of a mythological figure if he succeeds in killing or capturing more British and American soldiers and in turning Baghdad into an Arab and Islamic Stalingrad.

It is now clear that events are not going according to the plans prepared in Washington and London and that Saddam's strength and the Iraqi people's reaction to the war were misjudged. Saddam has outfoxed his enemies. He has managed to surprise all in Washington, London and Arab capitals with his ability to absorb the strikes of the first days of confrontation, to turn the psychological war directed against him into a source of self-confidence, and to manipulate America's overwhelming military superiority in his favour.

Human Rights Watch said yesterday that former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was not given a fair trial, claiming in a report that attorneys and judges undermined the legitimacy of the process by staging repeated walkouts and failing to uphold standards of international law.
In a 97-page report, the group called the soundness of the guilty verdict "questionable" and said the Iraqi High Tribunal was not equipped to handle such a complex case. The document was based on observation of the trial and interviews with court officials, lawyers and other key parties, the group said.
Iraq is under Military Foriegn Occupation and he is considered a prisoner of War...

Im revising for a test. The context is in terms of human rights. The UK has an unwritten constitution which affords people "negative" rights. However the Human Rights Act 1998, which adheres to the European Convention on Human Rights now gives people living in the UK "positive" rights.

What exactly is the difference between negative and positive rights?

Thank you

Iranian leader: Holocaust a 'myth'
TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has described the Holocaust as "a myth" and suggested that Israel be moved to Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska.
sorry am I not mistaken but Israel does not belong to Iran so why does he want them off of their own land ? And him invitting an ex kkk leader ...when have the kkk respected Iranians before ?
He has also called for charges against the US for war crimes be brought up , yet he is as guilty of war crimes himself !
