I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT!!!! HE WASN'T A GOD OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!!!! HE WAS A VERY VERY BAD TERRORIST!!!!!!! Saddam was not muslim - so what's the beef? And the IRAQI war is not because of western involvement - with or without western presence, the war will continue. Insurgents (or freedom fighters) will still be in IRAQ long after the US leaves killing other muslims. Review their history. This argument that Saddam was some type of heroe is not based on any facts I know about the man, nor was he admired by any sane human being. He killed far more of his own peoople tha any foreign presence.
I think the country is full of perverse thugs rather than freedom fighters. Bloodthirst is an acquired addiction that can affect any perverse man under the guise of some religious creed.
That includes christians, jews and muslims.
Saddam should have been released naked in the streets of Baghdad for the IRAQIs to serve real justice on this queer rat.

You can't over-abuse your own people...things usually back-fire on you...At least I hope his death will be a lesson to the other Dictactors in the area...No body is above the law ....at least for long time. Most dictators destroy themselves because they get greedy... and they do not know when to quit and trasfer the power to some body else...and leave the country that abused for so long...By the way his 2 daughters as they say they still love him so much...but they forget he is the one that murder the fathers of their Childrens...something is wrong with these 2 women...I feel sory for their children that they have to live under such enviroment...I wish was an International Organisation that could remove these childrens out of their custody...so they can become normal human beens later.

First, executions are themselves brutal act of a civilised governemnt, which promise the people to protect their lives. It has nowhere controle the crime rate. Secondly the unfair trail and the way the US feels it as a victory shows it was part of their game plan. Killing a person is not a solution to any problem. Let they may be put behind bars till-end. Such hangings would expose the brutality of the society.

it still feels wrong because it was. He was killed by shiite for revenge.
The 70 year old dictator knew too much about our government's involvment in giving the names of all the people he killed when he took power, that list was from non other than ex head of CIA Bush , and the dujail incident was the only incident USA didnty condone or supply the chemicals for or try to cover it up, dont forget Saddam was our puppet for a long time.

who is decide the death? American ? any where in world? No. Our country policy is dont involve other nation. First the American said that the Saddam have world destroy weapons. so we capture the Iraq. How many weapons they found there? Just think this first. Don get emotion. think twice. if i come to your house and i decide you are my wife or you are my husband. how u feel there. its acceptable? No nice. What they get in Iraq? Now what happening in Iraq? are they bring any development in Iraq? Why such rush for hanging? The Stupid Muslims are devided in to two parts as sunni and shia. The white people ruling over this SPLIT and rule in this global. In Saddam death what will improve there. Only Bush get happy. I don't think it was wrong, I just don't think it should have been televised.
And certainly not shown repeatedly on news channels every five minutes before the 9.00pm watershed.
By televising it, it will only give his supporters more of an incentive to kill and maim innocent people both in Iraq and the Western world.
He was an evil dictator and has been punished for his crimes but I for one could not bear to watch him breath his last breath.

After all we are humans and should not rejoice by another man's death by hanging and still published worldwide. Evan though he was a mass murderer, he could have imprisoned for his life time in jail. But definitely the Americans will pay heavily for this. Can you recollect the faces how it was terrorised after 9/11attack. Do any religion teaches mercy in the world???? Ridiculous. But We indians have still some ahimsa in our blood.

We feel that way because of the MEDIA and the politicians...these peoples always goes on twisting our brains into various divisions by their actions and comments.......
Just imagine the numbers of innocent peoples that are killed due to him, and all those who are still being killed even after his death....these things never stops.....
And still we thinks that Saddam's hanging was wrong..............
