i cant say with absolute certainty that killing another is ever truly justified, but i know if someone killed a family member of mine, i'd want that person to die.

that said, i dont know that killing him now made a lot of sense, the bush cabinet has tried to link him to the war on terror, but its just all lies. saddam deserved to die for a lot of different things he did, but he had nothing to do with this war.

the completed difficulty is perplexing to me, and that i don't comprehend it, yet listed below are a number of my recommendations on the completed difficulty. i became 6 years previous in 1991 in the process the gulf war. i remember seeing saddam on television and interior the newspapers and my dad telling me the terrible issues that he did, and my dad telling me they knew the place saddam became and that it may basically be a rely of time in the previous he became caught. now, 15 years later, he's hanged for his crimes. i dont think of that a pacesetter would desire to homicide, torture, and gasoline their own human beings to maintain ability. that's not a pacesetter, it somewhat is a tyrant, an oppressor, a cruel and evil dictator. saddam would desire to have concept-regarding the destiny and the potential of his own downfall while he did what he did. even killing individuals of his own kinfolk to be sure ability, which he ultimately lost. so there became no factor interior the failings that he did. iraq is worse off than it ever became and there continues to be war in iraq. i don't help the loss of life penalty the two, yet in saddam's case, i think of that the nicely suited determination became made in executing him, and a minimum of it became achieved the legal way, with legal experts, judges and an entire trial. a minimum of he have been given a tribulation, it somewhat is something he did not provide his victims. i think of that saddam being hanged will coach that no person is above the regulation, even the president or dictator or best minister. in the event that they dedicate crimes, they too would desire to be subjected to the guidelines of the country that they rule.

I don't know if hanging him was justified or not. Personally I think they should have tortured him to death slowly using some of the same methods that HE ordered against the people of Iraq.
It would seem that he received the easy way out by having been executed quickly.
I don't believe that any form of execution could even begin to justify the wrongs that he personally performed or that he ordered done

Not only was the hanging justified, it was LESS than he deserved. He should have been made to suffer more. He got off easy. If it was up to me he would have been drug into the town square so that the Iraqi people would have had a go at him. I hope he's burning in hell right now.

NO.
He should have been shot when captured.
What was not justified was the U.S. administration setting him up as a dictator in the first place.
Then using him to fight for us in Iran.
Then stabbing him in the back when his usefulness was over.
But who's talking morality here, this is hard politics right.

1.5 million reasons. He was a brutal dictator who not only just slaughtered his own people, he tortured them. Do your research only if you have a strong stomach. Hanging was too good for him.
