Can we consider International Law and Justice and the late President of former Iraq should have been treated as a prisoner of War with respect.

We all know that Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair with his written memo came up with fabricated proofs that the Government of former Iraq has WMD, and they rallied the Coalition of the Willing to rally behind them to attack a sovereign Nation used to be Iraq.

It sounds as if your hatred of the war has blocked some memory cells of how this war began. I am a liberal leaning person and I am not a big fan of this war but it is certainly not illegal. Saddam did not comply with UN resolutions and the elected Congress of the United States gave the President persmission to wage this war. You can dislike the decision but please do not cloud the facts of why we are there. The president did and look where that has gotten us.

i imagine all of us contained in the global recognizes Iraq as a soverign usa. What you're speaking about is a "status of forces" settlement between Iraq and the U. S.. this is being negotiated because the UN determination making an allowance for US occupation runs out on the suitable of the year. There must be some style of settlement in position for the U. S. to proceed to "legally" take care of our troops there. we've similar agreements with different international places the position he have troops and bases. this is not technically an "occupation" if the authorities of Iraq asks us to stay.

HI-larious. You just cannot accept the reality of the fact that the man is dead, he was a genocidal mass murderer and adjudicated guilty by a court of his own nation. He mistreated his people, any surprise they put him to death? No, no respect for Saddam. Had I been the one to discover his cowardly *ss in that hole, things might have gone much differently.

"We all know that Mr. Bush and Mr. Blair with his written memo came up with fabricated proofs"

Apparently the "we" you speak of had nothing concrete to offer.

I think your opinion is very incorrect. The government of Iraq was created and voted on by Iraqi's. What about that don't you understand. Your story is old and tired.

Do you not recall the UN voting in a mandate in November to keep 160,000 troops there in Iraq!

Saddam Hussein was guilty for crimes against humanity. It was the humanity of the US that stood up to his oppression and ended the terror he caused. HE GOT WHAT HE DESERVED.

Nice try. But there were WMD.
Saddam was convicted and executed by Iraqis, not the US.
