I know every case is different. However I am wondering what the basic visitation schedule commonly awarded in Florida family court is. Background info: 2 young children (2 and 4) have been living with mother for past year (since time of separation). Mother is stay at home mom now, married and no criminal history. Dad has seen them, Thursdays and every other Sunday. (Live about 5miles from each other). He has had minimal contact by his choice and has paid no child support. Not to mention has called DCF on mother (was unfounded), was arrested in Sept of this year for resisting an officer without violence and was drunk and DUI charges have just been filed for crash he was had in October. Father will be out of work for next year dur to injuries sustained from crash. Father wants to split time equally. Mother does not agree. Going to trial w/ this. Anyone have any insight??

i know this probably sounds stupid but i called the cops after just out of shock of what i did. the guy then wanted to press charges for assault. why didn't it count on my side that he threatened me? not to forget that he called a friend up to come and beat me too. all i wanted was for him to leave me alone as i was minding my own business on my phone. by the way, i'm a female. were the cops sexist as well as not to take my side?

My friend and I were having a debate about this. He thinks even though O.J. was aquitted he could be tried for the same crime in a federal court. But I think you can only be tried in a federal court if the crime is against the government. I don't really care if I'm wrong, I'd just like to know if he can or can't be. I'm guessing if he could be it would have been done by now!

My ex has a contact order with my son, for nearly 2 yrs now. My son was 2 then and was reluctant to go, but i forced him as my solicitor told me to. The contact was in a contact centre now it's unsupervised for 3 hours. My son is nearly 4 now and does not want to go and cries when he has contact. Now my solicitor says to me i have to just take him and hand him over to his father even if he cries and screams, now is that fair? Don't we all have rights to do what we want to do and not be forced into doing something we don't? I have no one to help me and i want to know is this right? Do i have to force my child to go to someone he doesn't even know that's his father because he never saw him before this contact started? There is no love and affection from my ex, there is no strong bond, my son comes home being very tired hungry and irritated from contact and it's emotionally upsetting for me and my son. Can i ask the judge to dismiss contact? Please can someone help me. Thank you

When I was a student, we had a rented flat that we obviously retained with a deposit. During our tennancy, we had a blockage in the drains, and our landlord never returned our deposits at the end of the tennancy. He never gave reason until I managed to reach him, when he said he wouldn't be returning them for the said reason. He refused to provide any evidence of the cost of the repairs, or confirmation that we caused it.

What are my prospects of making a recovery?

I personally have no problem with id cards or fingerprinting as I have no plans on breaking the law!! If anything happened to you or someone you care about, would you not be grateful that fingerprint evidence or dna can be traced back to the crininal quicker.

If you have not done anything wrong and you are accused the government can clear you if your id card said you were somewhere else.

If it makes my life easier and helps me to feel more safe then I have no problem with it.

Should sex offenders get their privates chopped off so they can't commit another crime? They give them the chop if proven guilty. It's like in some other countries if you steal your hands get chopped off.
