Yes, in all provinces. And in Spain, and South Africa.
The Columbian Senate just considered and passed a bill, though it hasn't become law yet.
Mexico City is now recognizing same-sex domestic partnerships.
In the Netherlands, gay marriage has been legal for years.
In Israel, the Supreme Court ruled that the state must recognized same-sex marriages solemnized in other countries, so that a couple married in Canada will also be considered married in Israel.
It's just America that doesn't get it.

Canada actually considers it's people equal under the law (as opposed to just harping on human rights like some other countries). As such, every human being, regardless of sex, race, and sexual prefrences has the same rights including the right to a marriage.

Its best to call it what it is . WHICH is SAME Sex marriages. YOU dont have to be "gay" to want Same Sex Marriages or participate in same sex marriage. And GAys can get married LEGALLY. They just can't marry the same sex
People who continue to call it the wrong terms, are people who show their ignorance on the subject.
I rather educate people than let the continue to spread their ignorance.
Im not concealing anything , but it SEEMS that you have a problem with the term "gay" if you seem to think that.

surely, because gay marriage will develop marriage as an finished, it really is to the great element about all of society. An excerpt from an ethics paper I wrote: The very last substantial argument hostile to similar-sex marriage is that it undermines the corporate of marriage. although, in reality, “…conserving the ban on similar-sex marriage will surely weaken marriage, a touch at the starting up, yet then extra by the years, by blurring its limitations and eroding its status” (Rauch 86). Civil unions and critical different reward, as touched upon previously, act as a “alternative” for marriage and, although meant initially for gay couples purely, heterosexuals have extensively utilized those shops as hostile to marriage. permitting gay couples to marry would help forestall heterosexuals from “piggybacking on the flow” (ninety) and for this reason help eliminate the acceptance of couples forming a life mutually with out the kind of marriage. to boot to, legalizing gay marriage would develop marriage by “renormalizing” it, to be able to communicate (89). by which includes similar-sex couples, it would reaffirm the concept marriage is both the perfect and maximum customary way for 2 human beings to construct a life mutually. it would strengthen the concept if someone needs the benefits of marriage, then they favor to get married. each and every of the hazards, which includes civil unions, cohabitation and unmarried father and mother, heterosexual dissenters say weaken marriage will purely develop into extra time-honored as homosexuals proceed to stay outdoors the fold of marriage and instantly couples connect them, ensuing in the eventual metaphorical “demise” of marriage as an archaic and ineffective company. This outcome, of direction, is an severe view of the topic that would want to take a lengthy era of time to take position, even though it really is, although, attainable.

I'm surprised they did not include it in the Charter of Rights.
___

Why do you dwell on petty yet dishonest use of language?
If you wish to be technical, it is most properly referred to as "homosexual" marriage. The fact that you would try to conceal the "gay" part is very revealing to me.

Of course you don't, but it is referred to properly as "gay" marriage because those who approve of it or fight for it are usually
