Nothing will change with new leadership. I just read a news report about the new house speaker MS.Polosi. She is not going to do anything differant then all the other speakers did ; Send million of dollars home. She all ready sent 6.7 million for a dental clinic in San Francisco.,2.1 million for a Maritine Nation Historic Park also in SF. ,388,000 to rehab A Filipono cultral center. She has already talked to people from California about doubling their money for pet projects. I thought this was going to be a new way of doing business. ?Do we want the people who won to just be the same as the old ones?

Does that mean things like vanilla and other flavorings you bake with that contain alcohol? I don't understand what it's supposed to mean. Here's the passage and link; "Furnishing Imitation Liquor to a Minor:Any person who furnishes imitation liquor to a minor, or allows a minor under that person's control to possess, or consume imitation liquor, may be fined up to $500 and/or sentenced to six months in jail"

My father passed away last night. He had lung cancer from some chemical at work 8 years ago. Although he didnt have medical insurance his company has a policy where in the event of death they will pay the cost of the funeral up to 12,000 dollars. My father and his sister or my aunt got together about 1 month prior to his death and signed some agreement (my father not my aunt) where 2,000 dollars was to be set aside for me. My step mother called me today to tell me that i wouldnt be recieving the money because she used it all on the funeral. She stated that she wanted a nice funeral for my father. I understand this completly i mean 10,000 for a funeral isnt that much thats what my dads work place offered a max at but my problem is wether the money for me or anybody in that fact is a wish of a dieing man shouldnt one respect that? I know this is a legal issue. I plan on waiting weeks after the funeral that way there isnt a uprising because its not the time nor place to do this.

What is the point of killing someone for killing? Is it supposed to prove a point to the public? If so, it is certainly not working. Studies have been done and have found that in states that have the death penalty, it has not made a difference in the number of murders. There is no reasonable argument for it. If we kill killers, are we going to rape rapists? It just doesn't make sense. It costs more money to kill someone by lethal injection than life in prison, it takes an average of 15-18 years from trial to execution. If anyone can think of a reasonable argument for the death penalty, I want to hear it.

who else is worried about our country is becomming? I am 17 years old and every year it seems like we loose another right. The United States i am living in is not the once great country i learned about in my history classes. Not only are we loosing freedoms ever year, but we have also pretty much become a pussy nation. If someone uses a racial slurr or something everyone flips out, big deal it's a word. If your walking on the street at night, your somehow a criminal (at least in my town). If you pick on someone in school you can get suspened, if you even swear you can be. Do politicians really think they are being elected to take away right's like online gambling. do they really think thats what the public wants? Politicians are alwasy taking away rights for no reason.

An old friend who worked on the railways for 34 years was involved in accident last year, and as a result, suffers from severe epilepsy, of which he receives 'disablement allowance'. He decided to return to London, but find it hard to rent...agents and landlords seem to have twinned his allowance with DSS, and have told him either to go back to Norwich, or get his elder son (who he's staying with in Balham) to build an 'annexe'. Fine way to treat someone who left school straight to a job at 15, forty-two years ago...is there anywhere in London that caters for people who seems to have been criminalised on account of illness?

Respeced sir / madam,
I have a query regarding the property in my grand mother's name.
Let me give a brief background of the problem..
My grand father had two properties. One site in bangalore and some land in a village in Tamil nadu.
The site in Bangalore is in my grand mother's name. The land in Tamil nadu was there in grand father's name, after his expirty it was transferred to my father's name. After his expiry it was transferred to my mother's name.
The problem is with the site. My grand mother has three daughters and one son (my father). My father expired in 1988.
The problem is my grand mother is not ready to give a share in her property to his son's family.
She has written a will saying the site will be equally distributed among her three daughters and their son has been compensated with the land in Tamil nadu.
No one can sell the site and can only live in it! My grand mother is still alive.
My question is can we move to court asking for a share?
