Box everything up & put it into your garage or shed. Try to contact her if you have the forwarding information or know someone who can contact her. If she doesn't claim it after 6 months, donate it to a local charity, The Salvation Army, Goodwill, a local domestic violence shelter or other similar organizations. If you don't want to do that, join up with Freecycle & give it away.

Have you no phone number to contact her at?

Was she a paying border?

Did she sign a lease, and was the lease still
under contract?

I would attempt to contact her, and if she does not
respond within 3-4 weeks, I would consider the
items mine.

You should find out the laws where you live. I would try to contact her about picking up her stuff. To be safe I would find out what you can and can't do legally before you get rid of anything.

Check the laws in your state-you may be able to keep it if she owes you money but if not you have to wait a certain amount of time before it 's yours
